B&B Il Galleone

My one regret is that we only had one night in this lovely B&B. Our family began our trip along the northern coast of Sicily in Messina, staying at Il Galleone for one night. Antonella and her staff were very welcoming and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed, including great dinner recommendations. We had two rooms, both beautifully decorated and appointed. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen area had everything we needed for a quick morning tea and espresso. If you are looking for a place with warmth and charm, Il Galleone will not disappoint.

I have stayed at il Galleone this summer together with my family the nights before and after my wedding. Il Galleone is conveniently located in the historical city centre, a stone away from the Duomo/Cathedral square. Everything is literally at walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants and places to eat in the elegant and peaceful neighbourhood. The rooms are well equipped with every comfort: air conditioning, hairdryer, fresh towels, toiletries etc.. They are very nicely decorated and elegant, so they suited perfectly the wedding pictures. The breakfast is kindly provided in the communal room where coffee facilities and pastries are served every morning. A special voucher is offered in addition to this for the very first morning when one can opt to have breakfast in one of the two historical coffee places located in the Cathedral Square, literally 100 metres from the Galleone. Such a bonus! Antonella and Rosario were perfect hosts (at times they felt like family), so welcoming and catering all the demanding needs a bride can have, always supportive and understanding. They went out of their way to make my family have the best experience possible during our stay and I will eternally be grateful to them for this. I highly recommend the Galleone to everyone who needs to be in Messina either for work or leisure. It's a special place run by very amazing people: You will feel like Home! Thank you so much!

B&b da 10 e lode. I proprietari sono una coppia giovane, ma gestiscono alla grande. Ci hanno rubato nostro cuore. Disponibilità, gentilezza - al top! Sanno consigliare i posti per mangiare e per visitare. È stata veramente una grande bella sorpresa.
