Friendly and helpful staff. Speedy service in both the restaurant and the pub. Nice and clean. Would benefit from a better coffee machine and electric car charging point.

Was a really clean hotel lovely room and excellent breakfast all you can eat buffet style. Pub on the grounds as well. Great value for money

Room was comfortable and clean. Bed was good size. Staff all excellent, especially Michelle who came to my rescue when my glasses fell apart just as I was going to drive 200 miles home. Also useful to have Pastures Lodge nearby for decent meals.

Fantasy! We had a lovely stay, it was peaceful, with beautiful walks near by, bed was very comfortable and the hotel had everything we needed. The food at the Lodge across the car park was really nice, a good selection to choose from and a carvery available too. We would definitely recommend it. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we will book to stay again. They also have events at the Lodge so you can book to go to one of the events and then enjoy a stay over at the hotel.

Both the Pastures Hotel and the Pastures Loge are well worth taking a look at. The staff from the very top to the bottom will make your say one of the best, I have never been made more welcome in any other Hotel we enjoyed every second of our stay with you. Room was clean and comfortable and all staff gave 110% to our stay. The pastures Lodge just over the carpark do some really nice hot food and keep a nice pint, Your met with a smile by well dressed Staff and looked after. This is on my to go again soon list. Thank you to all the staff from the Hotel and Pastures Lodge for making our stay so enjoyable. John & Margaret Abbott

Nice tidy hotel, well priced and comfortable enough. Breakfast was really nice. Room was very hot on arrival we had a small desk fan which helped but the room didn't cool all night. Bathroom and shower were very clean and nice. Staff very helpful and polite and parking was abundant outside the hotel.

Very disappointed, we went there for two nights on the Bank Holiday weekend. They only told us a few days before that the restaurant would be closed due to a function so we had no time to find elsewhere. The breakfast on the first morning was so busy not much left and was awful when it came out. Seemed like the staff were running round like headless chickens. The second morning wasn't much better. When I asked foe a drink on the second day to take to the room I was told bar closed and had to go over to the pub ,owned by you. My wife had a knee replacement just a few weeks prior so walking was out of the question. So based on all this, I would not recommend and I wouldn't stay there again. Unfortunately my Sister booked the rooms so I couldn't get my Best Western points. Very dissatisfied

Nice hotel in lovely setting. Breakfast was good. If you are disabled (wheelchair user) make sure you ask as many questions you need to because the facilities for me as a wheelchair user were inadequate. No grab rails by toilet and freestanding shower seat with not enough space to transfer from wheelchair to seat on a slippery floor because of the glass shower panel. Also the knobs to turn the water on/off/adjust temperature were far away so you could not do this yourself. I was lucky I had my hubby with me.

We have stayed here before and were happy to return. However this time the walk-in shower had lots of black mould, there was a nasty smell from the basin, and the pillows were thin, lumpy and uncomfortable. The restaurant was very good despite being short staffed, and the food was excellent, well priced with generous portions. If the cleaning issues are addressed we would use this hotel again.
