We had booked and received confirmation from this hotel 6 weeks prior to our arrival. We were willing to pay a premium price for a premium apartment. The confirmation letter described a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony and outdoor furniture and a view. On arrival we were offered a smaller suite (not a one bedroom apartment) , a view of a cement wall, no balcony or outdoor seating on the ground floor. The explanation “ we are fully booked”! We were then brought to another of their properties (Hipolito) over 1 km away…an inferior property in a lesser location away from Lincoln Park. This apartment had mold in the bathroom, a malfunctioning toilet, broken lighting in the bedroom, no outdoor space, burners that did not work, dirty blinds etc. Photos are attached. Tennyson ignored my emails until we were leaving (4 nights). They never offered a solution and refuse compensation. I see that Tennyson can be an excellent hotel….But BEWARE… Others have posted a similar experience, so this is not a “one off”.

Excellent place! The room was very spacious. The staff was amazing. Christian received me at the door and made sure everything was comfortable for my stay. The guard at the entrance was fantastic was very aware of who enters and exits. So I felt very safe

No puedo creer como un hotel que está en una remodelación activa sin agua caliente permite realizar reservas para luego enviarte a otro hotel totalmente diferente como lo ves en las fotos, NO RESERVEN EN ESTE HOTEL SE LLEVAN SORPRESAS TOTALMENTE DESAGRADABLES!!!

Ficamos hospedados no hotel em outubro de 2022. Chegamos tarde, por volta das 2h da madrugada no horário do México, e não tinha ninguém na recepção -- apenas o guarda do hotel, muito simpático e solicito. Como não havia identificação na porta, mostramos nossa reserva e perguntamos se era aquele o hotel. Ele confirmou, fez nosso check-in e fizemos o pagamento. Dormimos, tomamos café da manhã no dia seguinte e, na hora do check-out, surpresa: a recepcionista avisou que aquele não era o hotel correto da rede. O do check-in era a algumas quadras dali. Mas, ela admitiu que o erro foi na hora do check-in e disse que estava tudo certo. Nos prontificamos a ir no outro hotel explicar a situação, para não pagarmos no show, mas a recepcionista assegurou que estava tudo certo e ainda pediu várias vezes desculpa. No mês seguinte, surpresa: a rede fez uma cobrança dupla, pelos dois hotéis. Estamos desde então tentando recuperar o valor, mas sem sucesso. Não respondem pelo número do WhatsApp, não atendem ligações. São péssimos. Fujam.

Eu e meu namorados nos hospedamos nesse hotel em Outubro e, ao chegarmos, houve uma confusão com o pagamento — que foi assegurada pelos funcionários que seria resolvida e não teríamos mais problemas com isso. Desde então, minha estadia foi cobrada em dobro e simplesmente não consigo esse dinheiro de volta. Há um mês me falaram que iriam dar seguimento para resolver o caso, mas nada foi feito. Agora ignoram minhas mensagens e ligações.
