Great hostel in the city center. The common area is really nice, easy to get to know people. Everything was fine, it was a good hostel to get some rest after a long flight

Rating: 0/5 – Extremely Disappointing I had a terrible experience at this property. It was nothing like what was described. It seems that either the staff or others may be posting false or misleading reviews. My stay was plagued with numerous issues that made it an overall awful experience: Poor Condition and Maintenance: The bathroom shower had poor drainage, and the tile flooring was uneven. The dorm I was first assigned had an uncomfortable and too-small bed. The second bed was slightly better, but the wall was stained and punctured, making it uninviting. The electrical outlet and in-room light didn’t work, adding to frustration. The facility itself was filthy, unsanitary, and unsafe. Customer Service Issues: While the staff in the cantina were pleasant, the front desk staff left much to be desired. They appeared overly focused on money and lacked flexibility with their policies. For example, I was charged to rent a towel, and they required a deposit. I was 5 pesos short, and despite asking for leniency(they didn't accept cards, it had to be pesos), the staff refused to accommodate me. If it was a rental and I would get the money back after returning the towel, why not accommodate a paying guest? This lack of understanding and poor customer service was frustrating. Noise and Lack of Consideration: Around 9-10 PM, the noise levels became unbearable as the activities were held right outside my dorm. The dorm was in the main corridor, so the noise echoed directly into the room. It was disruptive and continued for several hours until “quiet hours” began. While I tried to drown it out with headphones, it was still inconvenient. Safety Concerns: The overall state of the facility raised serious safety concerns. The cleanliness and maintenance were poor, and the location did not seem secure. Overall, this experience was highly disappointing. I would not recommend this property to anyone. The conditions, poor customer service, and lack of attention to guest needs were unacceptable. I will not be returning. As previous guests have mentioned, be cautious of your arrival time because the property can be difficult to find and is not located in the most desirable area.

It was overall a great stay! Staff are awesome and helpful, activities planned every day so it makes it easy to meet people! Private rooms are secluded (at least the one I stayed at - 111). Definitely had some trouble sleeping at times. This particular bedroom is next to the bathroom which gets cleaned daily at around 5:45-6am and it’s pretty loud for a light sleeper. Another morning someone decided to play the guitar loudly on a Saturday morning at around 8am lol so that was a bummer. Definitely party people come in late but that’s inevitable. Breakfast was delicious, I didn’t try the cocktails though but I imagine they’re tasty, too. Bathrooms and rooms are tidy! Bed was comfy!
