Robert Frost Mountain Cabins

Beautiful grounds and area, many hiking trails and other things to do, from small scenic towns, to Ben and Jerry’s ice cream factory near by.

What can I say but just a perfect place to stay! Marty and Carol have created a perfect cozy idyllic place in the Mts of Vermont. They really have thought of every little detail for their guests. We stayed in cabin 7. The cabin was immaculate. It had a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, fireplace, reading nook, wi-fi, tv, screened porch, and bathroom with tub/shower. Looking out our kitchen window was even warm and cozy. Also a short walk away is the “Loft”common area, where there is a 6- person outdoor hot tub, upstairs inside the loft you’ll find games, books, dvd’s, small workout area, tv, coffee, tea, in a cozy setting. Also I can’t forget those cinnamon twists delivered to your front door on the first morning of your stay….they are delicious. The cabins are close to winter activities and trails and Middlebury Vt is close by for dining. Thank You Marty and Carol for such a welcoming stay, we can’t wait to return. Angela and Paul…

I never write reviews but could not miss the opportunity to absolutely rave about this place! We found it online and had never stayed there before, which is always a risk. But, we were blown away by the cabin, the area and our entire experience here! There is not ONE detail of comfort & hospitality that the owners missed! The cabins are beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. We stayed in Evening Star #6. The screen porch is where we spent most of our time. It is surrounded by woods on all sides. We heard and saw no one! This was the exact level of peace we were looking for this vacation. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay so pleasant and easy. From staples like coffee, tea, creamers, sugar, hot cocoa…to wood for the fire pit and marshmallow toasting sticks. We truly almost felt like we were in our own home! One of the owners, Marty, came by to see us to ask if we had any questions and to provide recommendations on the area. He was so helpful and so unobtrusive. A quick in and out. And….AND…homemade FROSTED cinnamon twists were delivered in a PICNIC BASKET with a warming stone to our doorstep…on our first morning there. They were so delicious and should be sold in every bakery in the New England area!! The area is just beautiful with so much to do! I cannot stress how perfect this get-away is! If you’re thinking of trying to book Cabin #6 for the next 4th of July, sorry! We beat you to it! We cannot wait to go back next year!!

Fabulous property and the nicest hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location while at the same time taking advantage of the full kitchen, the outside deck and the firepit for cooking family dinners and enjoying quiet evenings with a glass of wine. Our son loved the grassy space with various sport games and the warm cinnamon twists were a nice touch too! Would stay here again though if back in the area. May come back in winter one day.

Carol and Marty have outdone themselves! From the sturdy timber frame cabins to the amenities, thoughtful arrival baskets, including one for our two furry friends, the Vermont Green Mountains setting was absolutely perfect. You can totally unplug and disconnect, but if you’re like us, you might want to keep your devices on. Each cabin has its own dedicated Wi-Fi access point, just like home, with super-fast internet that provides fast streaming on the included smart TV or your own devices. Each cabin has a split AC unit for cooing and heating and there's a gas fireplace for ambiance and supplemental heat. The kitchen is well-stocked, and each cabin has an on-demand water heater so you never run out. The linens are top-notch, the beds are comfy, and there are outlets everywhere. It’s rare to find hosts who go above and beyond to provide such great value for your money and make sure you’re comfortable. We will definitely book a return visit.

Amazing place. I am not easily impressed. I worked at a resort in the Poconos for 40 years. I heard all the complaints. You will not have any here. They have thought of everything. Cabin is beautiful and well appointed. Beds are very comfortable. Screened in deck is the perfect place for morning coffee. Our first morning they brought hot cinnamon twists to the cabin for us. This was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. We were traveling with our German Shepherd who was welcome in cabin 4 (they have a few pet friendly cabins) and they even supplied a bag with bowls, a treat, a blanket and a tag saying.. I'm staying at Robert Frost Mountain Cabins with the phone # just in case. Most things... restaurants, stores, lake are a 20-30 minute drive. If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful, quiet place you need to stay here.
