Very clean..

3 stars due to room needing some love. 5 stars for the commitment to stellar customer service by the manager Johnny Hart. We had a few issues with our room that he immediately resolved for us. Decent location with lots of restaurants close by.

Mostly clean, but the pool was too questionable for me to consider. Sadly, out of date. The front door was not even automatic. They service was ok. The location was convenient. The breakfast was minimal. I did like the number of toppings they had for oatmeal. I won't stay there again.

The Texas visitors rate this Hotel as Great, even if it is undergoing renovation. Everything is very clean, staff is very friendly, breakfast was wonderful. Especially loved our desk clerk, Jeni, who checked us in. She was so friendly and helpful. Loved visiting with her. Hope she gets a raise, as she is a wonderful employee!! You won’t be disappointed and you’ll have a restful nights sleep at the Fairfield Inn in Middletown, Ohio. The manager, Johnny and his staff will make you feel welcome. The beds are comfortable and the linen, blankets and pillows are wonderful. The Hotel is clean, quiet and close to restaurants and shopping.

Stayed here one night while traveling home. Convenient location. Hotel is older and in need of renovation. That being said, our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was standard hotel fair. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not sure why they charge $3 to park as typically only see that in larger cities.

The best place to spend some time to yourself. Very quiet and very polite staff! Would suggest this place to anybody! Kid friendly hotel! Shelby, Sierrah, Tiffany, and Dusty are the best there! Johnny is a great general manager. You can tell he does right by his staff! Keep up the great work!

We are driving down the I75 south and at around 4:30pm we are looking for a hotel to spend the night, we are members of the Marriott Points program, so we saw The Fairfield Inn in Middletown Ohio and asked for their rates which the very friendly receptionist gave us a great price with an upgraded room. The rate includes breakfast which was good, had a good selection of options, on check in we got a goody bag each with snacks and bottled water. The coffee in the reception area was probably the best I have had in a hotel lobby and it’s available 24 hours as well as hot chocolate etc. There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby so you can get food to eat easily. We are glad that we stumbled across this hotel, the staff including the breakfast lady are terrific ambassadors for Marriott Hotels, Middletown and the state of Ohio.

This hotel was pleasant and perfect for a one night stay. The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable, and we had all that we needed. We were a little concerned at check in due to a large group of people socializing loudly in the lobby. We were worried we’d have a noisy night but our room was quiet all night. As a lower tier property, the hotel does not provide all the amenities of a higher level one. So, the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and bar soap, but no other toiletries such as body wash, lotion, shave cream, or cotton swabs. However there is a large mini fridge and a microwave in the room - which was a standard 2 queen room. Several pleasant surprises included the fact that our room darkening curtains closed well enough to actually block out most of the light. Also, upon arrival in our room there was a nice hand signed note and a brown paper bag with bottled water, a bag of chips, and a brownie - in acknowledgement of my gold status. I am new to good and had not expected anything but it was really nice. Lastly, the breakfast was more extensive than I anticipated. It was nothing fancy: eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and various breads yogurts and packaged cereals. They had shredded cheese and salsa for the eggs and a whole selection of toppings for the instant oatmeal. Minor downsides: At check in and out there was no one at the front desk and there was a printed sign stating that they were helping a guest and for service to pick up the phone and dial 410 - but there was no phone! Both times someone came out from the back within 5 minutes, but it was kind of odd. The pool is currently closed for maintenance-which we knew when we booked. The only tea available at breakfast was decaf or earl grey. Neither is a big favorite for me but I made do. I would definitely stay here again.
