Hotel Ideale

POSITIVE: I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is in a great location; you can reach by public transport the Duomo area and Central Station very easily. The neighbourhoods are safe, lively and with all the facilities you need (shops, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies...). The hotel room (214 - double room) was very comfortable and was at the back of the hotel, with a window facing the inner garden. Very peaceful at night. I always appreciated a room with a small fridge, and this was the case. The bathroom has a powerful hairdryer and bidet. I have appreciated the refillable soap dispenser (instead of the courtesy of small plastic bottles, which are polluting). The bed was comfy, and the pillows too. The TV was of a good size and with good image quality. Breakfast was good, with a good choice of food and beverage. The croissant was very good and fresh. You can have breakfast both inside but also outside, in the backyard, which is really enjoyable. REMARKS: *there is not a wardrobe, but some open wall coat hangers. * I tried to cool down the room but the AC didn't work. Maybe it was my fault as I didn't know how to use it; I haven't asked because I spent just one night there and the room temperature was ok after leaving the window open for a while.

We stayed at the hotel for a week in early June. The hotel is well located with easy access to the city centre (by bus or walking) and there are plenty of local restaurants. Breakfast was very relaxed with a good choice and comfortable seating. We had 2 rooms - an excellent single and a double which was a little small. The rooms were well furnished but we would have liked a kettle to have been provided.

The first impression of the hotel is that it needs more love. It is looking jaded and tired. The locale feels somewhat the same. We chose the hotel because our primary reason for being in Milano was a gig in Fabrique in SE of the city. Ideale offered a good compromise between being on the East side and also close to the centre. It fulfilled these requirements well :) Being about 5 minutes walk from the train station also made it very easy to get to from the Airport and for our onward journey. The room was basic but clean. We would have appreciated a plug in the bathroom sink. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was ample, with reasonable choice. The room overlooked the internal garden, which was a lovely alternative to other comparable hotel views.

To tell you the truth, I thought I was booking at a similarly named hotel and was ready to switch when I saw I'd made a mistake. However, we checked in for the night and were pleasantly surprised. The room, though on the smaller side, was immaculate. The hotel was within walking distance to many piazzas that we wanted to explore. Also within walking distance were some really great eateries. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood. We decided to spend another night. The morning breakfast offerings were abundant and varied, and offered hand made espresso drinks rather than the push button machine made. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They even stored our bags when we needed them to do so. I'm glad we stumbled upon this little gem.

We stayed 4 days at the hotel, it was our first time at Milan. It is a nice hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good . The room was really good for the price. We arrived at Milan at the Central station and the hotel was around a half hour walk.

Perfect for those wanting to visit the city in the day. The rooms were super clean and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The breakfast in the morning was also a lovely touch. Would stay again!

essendo a Milano x esami in Ospedale ,,avrei gradito tranquillità!!! con 40gr. sono stata costretta ad uscire ,x non si poteva stare in camera , col martello e trapano sulla testa , al piano di sopra ..e frigorifero non funzionante ..peccato !!! avrei gradito almeno le scuse e uno sconto !!!

Siamo stati una sola notte, ma è stata una esperienza piacevole, molta cortesia alla reception, la camera non grande ma pulita e di recente ristrutturazione, colazione buona, parcheggio ed ottimo prezzo considerando la posizione favorevole
