Lancemore Milawa

We stayed at Lancemore Milawa back in December 2023 which was absolutely beautiful! We could not fault a thing about the stunning hotel, amenities or grounds. Our trip was booked by my now husband, where he proposed to me on the scenic grounds. We enjoyed the hotel and area so much that we decided to hold our Wedding at Brown Brothers Winery in March 2025. It was a no-brainer that we wanted to stay at Lancemore for the few days post the wedding and without a doubt it was just as fabulous as our first stay. From the moment you arrive at this hotel the feel is so luxurious with the front desk staff always so welcoming and helpful. From the leather keychain on the room keys, to the warm and inviting common areas, the feeling around the hotel is relaxed and well thought out. The rooms are always clean, with the added addition of a very well handled minibar/snack area. The bed and lounge areas are so comfortable. The bathroom is equipped with everything you need while relaxing. The pool area is perfect to sit back and soak in the country air, with a spa and sauna available. The shaded cabanas make it perfect for an afternoon siesta. We ate at the Merlot restaurant in December 2023 and the food was impeccable, this time we only attended breakfast in the restaurant, but again was faultless. The restaurant staff cannot do enough to ensure the experience is positive. When we initially began organising our guests accommodation for our wedding we were concerned it may be difficult to handle the reservations and organisation, however, Jude, Ros, Serena and Olivia made sure that it was an easy process and went very smoothly. There is always the added bonus of watching the stunning sunrise behind the hot air balloons that frequent the area over the vines. If you are looking for an escape to an absolutely stunning area Lancemore Milawa is perfect! We will be back every March now to celebrate our anniversary and highly recommend to everyone our favourite hotel!

We recently stayed at Lancemore Milawa for 2 nights. The hotels design is modern and stylish, with a really comfortable vibe. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, making it very enjoyable. One of the first things we did after arriving was take a walk around the grounds which are absolutely stunning and helped us relax into our weekend away. The restaurant was amazing and plenty of options for brekky in the morning too. Special mention to Serena the General Manager who took time to walk around and discuss the new design vision after their renovations. Highly recommended anyone looking for a weekend getaway!

This property is above and beyond!! Check in was a breeze, we were lucky enough to get an early check in, and straight to our gorgeous room! The bed was out of this world, the room was beautifully appointed and then off to the lovely pool and sauna area!! Stunning!! The grounds are tranquil and well maintained. Dinner, later that evening was completely delicious! The cocktails were perfect! Breakfast the next morning was included in our stay, another delicious meal! We had a late checkout, we didn't ever want to leave!

Great service from lovely staff, very comfy modern open spaces. The selection of wines in the dining room were fantastic and were really great accompaniments to the dinner menu. Overall, a wonderful weekend getaway. We look forward to checking out other Lancemore properties.

Unfortunately there is something not right about the feel of this hotel. It feels like a bunker, a bit cold and sterile, lacking warmth. Bare walls down the main corridor don't help. Our room ,16, was odd, in so far, as it had a large bracket on the wall for no discernible reason , and one light ,very high up on the wall that was attached to a Bluetooth speaker? The TV had a volume limit of 11 , so when the heating was on you couldn't hear it. The staff are friendly but need more training as the restaurant staff, with one exception, lack confidence and get rattled with guests arriving closely together. The food was excellent ,with both dinner and breakfast being of a high standard with the exception of the desserts. Shockers! On the Sunday night we eat at the local pub as the restaurant was closed, as advised. One last comment. went to get a coffee in the lounge and not one single person in the entire building. Odd, you betcha for the $'s charged.
