Golden Milos Beach House by Domotel

Disappointing ….not a 4 star property. Unprofessional reception…..eating and very casual attire while on the job. Lack of information when we checked in. No restaurant when their website is advertised with restaurant. Charge for the beach lounges. Rooms were clean and young breakfast staff polite….. The manager was rude when she finally spoke with me by asking me to converse in formal Greek! I proceeded to tell her I was born, raised and educated in Australia and my common Greek should be better than her English! I did receive a verbal apology from her but she was not able to address our concern of overpayment and we were told they could allocate whatever star rating they choose.This is not a 4 star hotel the service lacks, no porter to assist with luggage, no restaurant……no where for a drink after 7 pm and a 20minute drive from main port. We were not advised the wifi, no folder in room, no information that you require a key from reception to work the safe. Also, air con wasn’t working took 3 times before it was repaired/regas.

Although beach location was excellent, service and room. Quality were the worst. This is a two star hotel with minimal service. Food very moderate and staff is not helpful at all despite smiles. No iron, no enough light in rooms, towels are not clean

No hot water after 9h30pm We stayed 4 nights not once we had hot water after 9h30pm ... The staff didnt have a clear answer about this issue They cut off the electricity on our last day stay claiming they have technical issue ( weird ) Location is good Hotel is well maintained Rooms are clean

One of the employees attacked me without warning, I tried to get his name from the front desk but her partner who also works there (Xrisa) refused to bring the manager or give me her partners name for the police report as I filed charges against him. This is a very unsafe environment to stay at while these two work there and I wouldn’t recommend staying at this place. I have some pictures below of the scratches/and marks he left on me. As for the man who works there threatened that he would kill me and almost pushed me down stairs. As well as shoving his partner (Xrisa) into the doorframe. He is a very unhinged individual and needs serious mental help.

I stayed here for 2 nights in beginning of July 2023. First of all, I need to say that this hotel was part of a package with Air Canada Vacations, and I am not sure about the pricing. But the hotel itself is very clean and with a modern touch, nice rooms and spaces, and helpful staff. It's right in the beach, very nice beach, with access from hotel. We had a car, and you definitely need one here because it's far from stores/restaurants.

Hotel photographs better than it is in reality. AC unit made tapping noises all night, hot water was inconsistent (none one day), and there’s no restaurant on site. Breakfast is decent, views are good, and the staff very helpful with restaurant recommendations and calling cabs. The hotel is also far from anything, so you’ll need a car or be ready to take multiple cabs into/out of the towns.
