Travelodge Milton Keynes the Hub Hotel

there is no service except the front desk service for checking in. there is no telephone that I can report the desk lamp is not working or you have to go down to the front desk to tell them. the window view is facing just next to the hotel. overall, it's only good for one night

Location is great and lots of restaurants and bars nearby . But I found no hair dryer in my room .

We were there for a 2 night stay in a standard room plus. First of all, the good points about our stay were the staff were all friendly, the rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable and the towels were nice. I liked the walk in shower. Breakfast was excellent and great value too. Free Parking right opposite the entrance was great. Now for the bad points. Upon arrival the room was really warm even though the window was open. I adjusted the thermostat from 21 to 18 degrees but it took until the next day for the room to feel a comfortable temperature; we left the window open for our entire stay. The bedside tables (little shelf) are way too small as there’s just enough room for a phone or coffee mug, not much else. As I have a CPAP machine I had to use one of the chairs as a bedside table. It took several flushes of the toilet to flush away toilet paper, and the seat hinge had a large chip, so difficult to sterile. The shower wasn’t very powerful and I would have preferred a fixed shower panel rather than a curtain. There was only one hand towel and there was no bath mat and the whole room decor was in serious need of an update. My biggest issue however is that the water in the sink took forever to drain away, and although I reported it on two separate occasions to two different receptionists with a promise both times of getting it fixed, it never was. I mean they must have known about it because it would have been difficult for housekeeping to clean it, and I’m sure others must have reported it too. I would probably stay there again, but would check the room thoroughly before unpacking.

Rooms badly maintained and after moving from a room with 4 issues .....moved to another room. I fixed the broken shower rail and had dried blood on my towel that was left at reception on checkout. I am not a serial moaner. .....but that was rubbish and someone needs to have a look around and kick some ****. No reflection on tv adverts at all!

It was such a nice visit, the rooms were clean and the price was affordable. Kelly and Ricky were so kind and accommodating when we went down to have breakfast which made the experience very enjoyable, would recommend as a place to say as it is close to everything as well.

Hotel was in perfect location for shopping at the centre mk, everywhere we went was in walking distance.check in flawless, rooms clean,tidy and a great size. Kelly, Richard and the rest of staff were amazing and very attentive to our needs. Despite a busy breakfast staff kept up and we didn't wait long for items. We'll be back, thanks guys and girls.
