Very comfortable beds, nice room, historic hotel great location you can walk to the Shank theater. I wish I could have tried the diner maybe next time all in all it was a nice place to stay. Easy secure parking somewhat ada compliant definitely would stay again

Gem of a hotel in the heart of Milwaukee. While we live in Milwaukee, we had to get a hotel room while having house renovations complete. The Plaza is the perfect place to stay in Milwaukee. Awesome and safe location that's close to everything downtown has to offer from Bucks games, shows at the Rep, and walking to the lakefront. The rooms are clean, spacious, and having a kitchenette is a wonderful bonus feature. The true highlight was enjoying breakfast at the adorable cafe with delicious food! There is a cute courtyard area to dine in the warmer months and a great inside area as well. Truly cannot say enough great things about this hotel and glad we found this local adorable spot!

There were 4 of us that stayed at the Plaza hotel for a concert. It was perfect with the double queen suite. It was a nice and cozy home feeling away from home.

We stayed at the end of the hallway near the stairs and exterior doors. We didn’t get any sleep. Room was great, location of the room was terrible.

Our stay at The Plaza was absolutely fantastic! The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience.

I chose the Plaza because all rooms had a kitchenette and it was within my budget. I have a lot of food sensitivities and generally travel with and prepare all of my own food. The full-size fridge, freezer, gas cooktop and OVEN were wonderful. But beyond that, the room was immaculately clean. Not a dust bunny, stray hair, crumb, paper scrap...nothing. It was lovely. The staff were kind and accommodating. The hotel itself has historic charm on top of modern amenities. It is not ADA accessible. This may be the only drawback I noted.

The Plaza has done a nice job of keeping the old look yet with clean completely-updated rooms, complete with comfortable beds, new bath fixtures, kitchenette fully-equipped with full-sized refrigerator/freezer, oven sink, dishes, plates, utensils, pot, etc. Traditional rooms are also available. In addition to coffee maker in the room, free coffee is available in the lobby. Breakfast and lunch there is very popular with the locals and guests with choices of countertop service, restaurant service, or courtyard dining. The hotel staff was all pleasant and helpful. The location in this beautiful neighborhood is ideal, walking distance to the waterfront, museum, downtown, the Third Ward and Public Market. I have already recommended it to locals for visitors from out of town. We would definitely stay here again if returning to the area.

A member of the family has severe fragrance allergies which makes staying in hotels difficult. The Plaza Milwaukee goes out of their way to make sure the room, bedding and towels are all cleaned with fragrance free products. The beautiful wooden floors also help in this regard. The hotel itself has a very nice little restaurant. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well. Labor Day weekend was ideal for temperatures. I particularly like the location. There is a grocery story directly across the street, with coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and the lake front all within a very short walk. It'd be nice to have a loyalty program like the big chains can offer.
