The staff was super helpful the minute we came in the hotel. Anna gave us the best food recommendations and things to see. I told them it was my birthday and they made me a special dessert for my room. The rest of the staff was equally as helpful and attendant to all are needs. I would stay here again hands down the best. The room was big and clean with a kitchen and full kitchen wear to cook if you wanted. Good view of the river. This place is worth staying at. Very nice place

This hotel looks basic from the outside. Once you enter it is very charming and comfortable. The room we stayed in was spacious with a huge comfortable bed, modern bathroom and a very well equipped kitchenette. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was cleaned and tidied each day. The breakfast was delicious with more than enough to eat.

Brilliant stay. Friendly team, Great location, well equipped (little kitchen with fridge etc really useful) and well maintained rooms. Excellent little haven with the rooftop pool and bar. About €20 Uber from airport We had a double room with sofa bed (it was me and teenage daughter on a city break) Would definitely stay if visiting Porto again.

I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel if you are visiting Porto. Porta Nobre is literally 5 minutes walking distance to Porto’s old town. Next to the hotel you will find bike/scooters rentals, restaurants; mini markets, etc. If you like running or walking, the hotel is in front of the river. Breakfast was great as well! We had dinner at the restaurant and it was simply great. The hotel also has a cozy swimming pool but we did not have time to use it. Would come back again to this hotel!

Wow, what a great little place, just off the main areas. This is only a small hotel with 18 rooms, but it is really well designed and decorated. The hotel is very fresh and the room was akin to an apartment you would happily live on. It was light, airy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was good, although we only really used the fridge and the Nespresso machine. Bathroom was large with a crazy sink and walk in shower and the bedroom was large with a comfy double bead and nice headboard. The hotel also has a nice small area rooftop sun terrace and pool for those relaxing hours before your evening meal after a long day's walking and Port drinking. There is a restaurant attached which also does breakfast, but we didn't use it, however it was always busy so I'd assume it's as good as the rest of the hotel. We got excellent recommendations of things to do from the multilingual receptionists which were really helpful too. If we come back to Porto, it's a no brainer we'd come back to the Porta Nobre

We stayed at Porta Nobre for a week for our honeymoon and we had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the city centre but in a quieter neighbourhood. The rooms are well equipped and very clean, and the bedding really comfortable. The breakfast is fresh, varied and delicious. The food at the restaurant is really good too, and the cocktails are definitely worth a try! But the big big plus is the staff: from the reception to the restaurant staff, they welcomed us very warmly and were always available for us. You can feel that everything

Beautiful spacious apartment style accommodation. In a great location, just a few minutes walk from boat tours and waterfront. Receptionist was very helpful in giving advice on what to visit and explaining. Some local customs. Although no dedicated parking, there is a cheap lot across the street that can be had for about 20 euro for 72 hours. The poor: Breakfast was underwhelming. Bad selection and very tight area to dine. Could not even get to half the selection because an occupied table was right there blocking it. Fortunately there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Perfect place for a family stay in Porto. Great location, friendly staff, lovely room, delicious breakfast and, best of all, the charming rooftop swimming pool. Only regret was that we booked too late to get a room with a balcony. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 3 nights in June in the T1 penthouse with balcony apartments. The apartment was beautifully presented and everything was new and modern. Breakfast was served to the room and there was so much choice to choose from and everything was fresh and delicious. The rooftop pool was a real asset to the apartment after a long, hot days walk. The location is great as it is a bit out of the centre but only a 5 minute walk into the Ribeira. The staff were very helpful and when our cooker stopped working they were quick to sort it out. I would 100% recommend this place to stay when in Porto.
