We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the excellent experience from 3.1-7.1.2025. The rooms and public areas are a delight to all senses, not to mention the first-class service and catering. The game drives were flawless and we saw everything we wanted and a little more. The park's colorfulness and animals complemented our experience. South Africa and Welgewonden/Ndlovu safari lodge remained in our minds and hearts forever.

What can I say to describe our time at Ndlovu…. My mum and I came here after a long-held ambition to go on safari, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Sanet and her incredible team were so helpful, hospitable and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food was exquisite and the chefs came out every evening to make sure we’d enjoyed our meal, and the rangers (April and Phil) that took us out were incredible. They didn’t stop until we’d seen everything and taught us so much, not just about the animals but so much more. The view from the lodge looked out over the watering hole so even while in the pool or eating lunch you could see zebras, warthogs, monkeys and even an elephant or two. Thank you Sanet and your wonderful team for making us feel at home in the time we were with you, and making our first safari one we’ll never forget and felt quite emotional to leave. Truly magical, I can’t recommend enough!

I stayed at Ndlovu Safari Lodge in mid-April shortly after getting engaged, and the experience was beyond incredible. My group and I instantly fell in love with the lodge. The attention to detail was unreal — from the design of the rooms to the stunning views, everything felt thoughtfully curated. The food was fantastic, and the staff made our trip truly unforgettable. April, our safari guide, was the absolute best — she got us up close with all the animals and somehow always had us there before any other vehicles arrived. Her knowledge and instincts were unmatched. Zach, our server, brought so much warmth and joy to our trip. We absolutely loved him — he made every meal feel special and brought such a great energy to the experience. And Maria, the masseuse, has golden hands! Her massages were next-level relaxing and such a treat after long days out on safari. The owners were onsite during our stay and their passion for the lodge and its guests was so clear. It’s rare to find a place where everything — people, service, setting — aligns so perfectly. I truly can’t wait to go back.

We recently had an unforgettable stay at Ndlovu Safari Lodge in Welgevonden, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The lodge's exclusivity, personalized service, and limited number of beautifully decorated rooms (complete with outdoor baths and showers) made for a truly intimate experience. The view from our private, spacious deck and plunge pool was breathtaking, and attention to detail was impeccable throughout—everything from the stylish decor to the beautifully presented meals is thoughtfully curated and well-maintained. Each evening, we returned from our game drives to find a perfectly drawn bubble bath and the cozy glow of crackling fireplaces. The game drives were remarkable, with rhino sightings being a highlight, and the gin tasting in the bush added a unique touch to our adventure. The boma dinner, accompanied by the staff's captivating singing performance, was an experience that we’ll treasure for years to come. Every moment at Ndlovu Safari Lodge was exceptional, making our stay one we will always remember.
