Hotel Puntazo II

Our first visit to Mojacar with a husband who has walking difficulties. Booked a superior room with sea view terrace and walk-in shower, Room 106, and it was fabulous and perfect for our needs. A really large room with huge terrace and lovely views. We chose to park our car in the underground car park for €12 per night to keep it out of the sun but there was sufficient car park space outside if required. Staff were all lovely, especially the delightful Lola, buffet breakfast was extensive and a pleasure and local bus ran from outside up to Mojacar pueblo. Found out on our return, that the nearest stop was at the Hotel Indalo so a bit of a trek when we had already walked some of the pueblo. Plenty of bars and restaurants locally to enjoy and a delightful, slightly heated swimming pool for me to appreciate. Plenty of customers return year after year and we can see why…we’ll be back! 😎

Hotel - brilliant Staff - brilliant Food - brilliant Location - brilliant Pool - very good Room - spacious & clean ( television only Spanish but you are in Spain . Nice bar & outside seating area The only minus - asked the reception if there was anywhere I could get flowers delivered from AS IT WAS OUR GOLDENNWEDDING ANNIVERSARY ( 50 years ) I SAID - but got no response didn’t want any extras but a appreciation might have been nice - but didn’t spoil the week .

Beautiful hotel , immaculately clean can’t say enough about the staff everybody was polite , cleaning staff always had a smile for you , lady at reception was really helpful, bar staff lovely The young man who came round the pool and took your bar order was amazing . We stayed room only but did eat at the hotel once food was lovely. Free entertainment every night. I will definitely book again I came with my sister for a mini break

Great hotel, Top location and welcoming staff. The room was well kept and very clean. The receptionist Anna always greeted you with a smile and helped with every request (can’t speak highly enough of this staff member). The breakfast is plentiful with a mixed choice which meets all requirements. All in all our second visit was again a pleasure and we will be back…

This is a very friendly hotel in lovely location. The room was basically furnished but large, bright and very clean and lovely views. In the very pleasant buffet restaurant the food was average but plentiful. Staff were very helpful and friendly and kept everything running very smoothly. The free nightly entertainment was a bit hit and miss from very good to very bad. Outside terraces and pool were very nice and the hotel is just across the road from the beach. Only complaint was lack of plug sockets in room, there was a floor lamp that had nowhere to plug into and the kettle had to taken to the bathroom or moved to bedside table to plug in. The windows also have strange shutters attached to them and when opened they cover the furniture, very odd arrangement.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The only small issue we encountered was that the fridge in our room stopped working. However, the moment we contacted the reception, they promptly replaced the fridge, ensuring that we had a comfortable stay throughout.

It is a very convenient location, overlooking the sea, rooms are nicely furnished, very clean and comfortable, t making facilities and mini bar.. Staff are nice, bar is lovely with a great terrace right next to the bar which is waitress service. Didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on that

Just got back from a 4 day break (coach trip) a very lovely, clearly family run hotel . One of the originals. The buffet was very good, food replenished right to the end of service . Staff were very friendly and efficient. Rooms well equipped and comfortable. Free evening entertainment!! All good

Just returned from a fabulous week here. Such a relaxing break. Spent my days around the lovely pool while husband raced motorbike at Almeria Circuit. Staff are so friendly and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Grounds are absolutely beautiful. Housekeeping is excellent our room was spotless and was swept daily with bathroom cleaned every day and clean towels and bedding every day. Will definitely return.
