Neptune Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Enjoyed my stay at Neptune beach resort. The staff was friendly and they had awesome food to enjoy each day. The buffet had really good fresh salads and made to order any omelettes, crepes and waffles. The lounge chairs were comfortable and the security helped keep monkeys and crows away from your food BUT don't leave your food unattended or they will get it! The best beach view and entertainment of the locals trying to sell anyone who walks on the beach stuff! Negotiate hard otherwise you can buy somethings at the local Carrefour grocery store cheaper. The rooms are clean and tips mean a lot to the people (remember they work hard and don't make alot) so if you tip you get great service as you would anywhere. Ask for an ocean or pool view otherwise you'll get a tree view but it's private. We did not venture out at night outside of our resort but did take a Tuk tuk around during the day. I would recommend this hotel and nice gift shops too :)

I decided to take a walk to the facility in Mombasa and probably consider a booking. On arriving, the guard gave me a weird look and asked where I was heading to. I told him and he refused to open the gate. He chased me and uttered some words. I understood it's because I didn't come in driving. Went to the next facility where will spending 4 nights. The customer service there is top-notch and the place is full. Do such hotels understand what they lose with poorly trained staff at the point of entry? One of these days I would like to meet one of the directors of Neptune and ask him qualifications of accessible Neptune. That name all inclusive should be out to action

Our family of 6 chose Neptune for our beach stay in Diani and we had a fantastic time. We stayed in Paradise section and it was perfect. Our favorites included the pool swim up bar, ping pong and pool table, and the dining area. The Paradise resort was quiet, peaceful, and not crowded and the perfect place to unwind relaxing by the pool while enjoying the beautiful weather and views. As guests at Paradise, we had full access to the other Neptune resorts and participated in aqua exercises, and evening entertainment that were at other resorts. The beach area is what you'd expect in Diani. One of the best beaches worldwide with perfectly soft white sand. There's an area nearby where locals sell curios etc. You will be solicited for boat tours, bracelets, etc on the beach. A firm no thank you is enough if you're not interested. The resort doesn't have a gym but there's a nice path overlooking the ocean and trails that will suffice for jogging. A big thank you to the staff who made our stay unforgettable, Hope and Jacqueline with the entertainment team, Suleiman in the restaurant, Stanley at Paradise bar, and staff at the pool bar. A special thanks to the Paradise restaurant manager who went out of his way to connect me with the chef for the secret recipe to the best grilled lamb ever. The staff and management were very kind, helpful and hospitable. One family member is a wheelchair user and the hotel put ramps down and gave us access to the dining area via the kitchen. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The pool area was enjoyable. Our kids played table tennis, pool, and enjoyed time with the animators. One of the highlights was the delicious food options everyday and the fun entertainment in the evenings. The food was so flavourful and fresh from omelettes to curries to mahamris. We had African, Indian, and a variety of other cuisines. There are options for vegetarians, meat eaters, and they are so accommodating if you have dietary restrictions. We loved Neptune Bamburi, it felt like home away from home.

This was the first time to Neptune Beach Resort. The staff are all excellent Danson and Nixon around the pool worked tirelessly in the heat to ensure you had what you needed for the day nothing was to much for these guys. The bar staff Douglas, Gibson, Tobias, Hassan, Frederick were all great they were all a ray of sunshine with a great smile and a happy outlook. This is a small hotel which appealed to us the pool was cleaned every morning and all the leaves from the trees were all swept away and the grounds were clean every day. The grounds were also the play area for a troop of monkeys which gave countless moments of fun watching them play. The trees in the grounds also gave shade from the sun if you wanted to get out of the direct heat. The food was good there was a good selection and always hot. All in all would I return, absolutely looking towards 2 years time. Once again all the staff are excellent but a great thanks to the guys I've mentioned above for making this a memorable experience.
