Houda Golf Beach & Aquapark

Thia hotel is beautiful and has lots to do with friendly faces all around. For example some honerable mentions go to the water activity service where Ali was extremely welcoming and friendly to talk to. Another is yayha who works in the food hall always setting out are table and having a laugh with us. There are many drink choices and lovely staff that made us feel so welcome making friends with every single one of them. The most wonderful hotel with the best service and everything kept clean and tidy. Many know alot of English, Arabic and French so speeking is simple, however I would recommend learning the simple phrases. Thank you houda golf Hotel ❤️

Some of the hotel furniture is very old, and the beds are uncomfortable! We were given other rooms on the ground floor that were much more modern, but they were full of mold and very dangerous for people with allergies! Then we were moved again and received other modern rooms one of them was perfectly fine, while the other also smelled of dampness and mold! Overall, the accommodation deserves a rating of 2! Everything else was excellent the pool, the food, the cleanliness, and especially the friendly and helpful staff who really try to solve any problem you may have! The rooms are cleaned regularly, and I have no complaints about cleanliness! The camel excursion was fantastic and highly recommended! The sea is very dirty, full of trash and jellyfish, and absolutely not suitable for swimming. So, if you’re coming for the beach, this is not the hotel or place for you! The animation team is active and friendly! Among the waiters, I would highlight Aziz, with whom we mostly communicated he was truly polite, kind, and always helpful! Praise also goes to the reception team they work under a lot of pressure and do their best to help everyone! The pool is clean, and in general, cleaning is done constantly! The air conditioning in the rooms is very weak! All in all, this is a budget resort and you shouldn't expect any luxury! It is suitable for families and older children. However, the play area and facilities for small children are very poor that part gets a rating of 0! The aquapark is also good!

Where to begin…….. Check in was absolutely horrendous! I arrived at 11.30 to be told I couldn’t check in until 3. I was allowed to enjoy the facilities. I went back at 2.30 to be met with about 50 Tunisian men all huddling around the reception desk. I waited patiently but was being knocked back and fourth and squashed in 32 degree heat. I had been travelling since 12.30a.m and was tired,hot and starting to feel really ill. I asked when I could get my room and was constantly told your next. 2 and a half hours later I was still waiting and so were the others. My paperwork that I had filled in on arrival had been lost. So I had to wait again. When I finally got seen I was asked if I wanted to upgrade rooms for an extra cost. No thank you just give me the key. I was given the key and sent on my way without being told where to go. I had to ask the shopkeeper. Unbeknown there are no lifts in this hotel and my room was on the top floor!, A porter kindly carried my luggage up all the stairs and to my room. On entering the room the porter says ahhhh water room. I wasn’t sure what he meant until further that evening……. Room On arrival everything seemed fine with the room. Spacious with a sea view. Until that is I turned on the aircon. It was like a waterfall. Water dripping down the wall all over the floor. I had to put towels down for the first 2 days waiting for it to be fixed. Shower Everything seemed fine until I got out and the floor was flooded. There was a gap under the door so the water stead of going down the drain came through the gap. Toilet Everytime you flushed the toilet water would spray out of the toilet pusher. Now I understand why the porter called it the water room! Come bed time on inspection there were big stains all over and very hard lumpy pillows. The room was cleaned everyday but never changed the bedding once. Food Awful! The layout is all over and you have to queue for awhile at each station. You are constantly getting pushed infront of. By the time you get chance to get food it’s all gone and have to wait again for it to be topped up. By the time you sit down everything is stale and cold. Animation Completely ignored me until my daughter arrived for a night. If ya face doesn’t fit your totally ignored. Saying hello to her whilst sat at the side of me and not acknowledging my existence was very rude. I most definitely wouldn’t return and advise any English to stay away! This hotel is for Tunisian,Russian,polish and French.

Stayed here for 10 days, lots of choices for food and the drinks are plentiful. Rooms are cleaned daily. Choice of excursions from around £25 - £50 including camel riding and boat trips. Entertainment staff are full of energy and everyone is friendly.

Good hotel overall however, check in was very slow and no room allocated up on arrival. Good entertainment for children is good and rooms are spacious. Staff are friendly and energetic, good evening entertainment. There are a lot of excursions to do ranging from £25-£50.

Animators and stuff was wery good 5/5 Personel is very friendly and they will help you whatever you need! Hotel is very clean and swiming pool and aquapark is beautifull!
