Fantastic hotel, currently here at the minute and it's fabulous. I booked this holiday last year and if I'm honest, i only decided to come on departure day as I caught covid 2 weeks before and it floored me. I checked the weather report and by 'British' standards, it looked dire. Let me tell you, Tunisian cloudy and rainy, isn't the same as 'ours' we've literally baked!!!!! I just thought on top of being poorly, maybe bad weather wasn't a great idea, I'm sooooo glad I took the chance. The hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere, security is tight but I suppose, being situated where it is, that's a good thing. We love walking out at night, if that's your thing, then it's not going to happen here but there's English channels on the tv and a bottle of wine to take upstairs isnt expensive so we're quite happy and after baking all day, it'll do for me. We upgraded to a suite and it's huge with fresh cut flowers on the table. You hand your luggage over when you get here and it's in your room by the time you've checked in/exchanged money. The housekeepers are the friendliest I've ever come across, so pleasant and kind. They will do anything for you. The food, oh my god, best I've ever had on AI, it's absolutely fantastic. If you want a late breakfast, you can grab one at the beach bar, overlooking the most amazing views, the beach here resembles Barbados in my opinion, it's breath taking. That runs from 10.15-11.30. Ita fab if you like a lie in. Please try the horse riding on the beach, it's a bargain at £19 each for an hour, the horses are beautiful, a real sight to see. The guy who organises it all is fantastic, they call him the horse man and the stables are right next to the gate as you enter, you can walk in any time to visit them and there's a new baby foal there at the minute. I've a facial booked for the end of my holiday so can't comment on that but the beauty prices are cheap as chips. All in all it's a fabulous hotel, they cater for everything (including an indoor pool, which we haven't had to resort to haha) Honestly, if your going as a family, EVERYTHING is catered for. If you plonked this hotel in Soain, it would definately be 4 star + As an after thought, ( just my opinion) please PLEASE tip well, you can't bring you dinars home with you and money goes A LONG WAY here, everything's buttons to buy and the guys work exceptionally hard to make everything perfect for us holiday makers. The animation team NEVER stop, we haven't joined in as my daughter is 17, I'm not telling you how old i am haha, but they are all so friendly and seem to get everyone involved, they work from morning til night and in this heat, they deserve a medal in my opinion, always smiling, a credit to the hotel. All in all, an absolutely fabulous place, just stunning. PS, I forgot I was visiting a Muslim country, you won't get a full English here but on trying their food, it's turned my head as to what great food really is, PPS, Look out for the pink flami
