Fairfield Inn & Suites Moncton

Room was clean and spacious. Location-wise there is nothing within walking distance. You must drive out for food or essentials. Our stay was for 2 nights and they didn’t clean the room or provide clean towels after the first night. Would I recommend this hotel to others?….if you don’t mind the inconveniences, sure.

The hotel is okay. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly but I was a bit disappointed in their loyalty program response. I am a Marriott Gold Elite member and if available I am supposed to receive an upgrade. When I mentioned this the woman let me know they only offer an upgrade to those who book a King room but because we booked two queens they would not be giving us an upgrade. (I know this hotel offers 2 queen suites as i have stayed in them before) This is not what the Marriott policy states and seems unfair if you're traveling with children. When I mentioned this wasn't Marriott policy didn't offer an explanation other than it is what it is. I could understand if the upgrades were all booked up but this wasnt the case. I get better treatment at other locations so I don't know that I'd come back with other options available. Customer service is massively important to me having worked in this industry for years. The rooms are fine, clean and comfortable beds. Location is not too far from shopping but again, there are other closer options under the Marriott brand if you want walking distance. This place is located off a highway which I didn't mind as it was easy to hop on and drive to the shops. The pool is small and not great if multiple families are there at once. We left when a large family came in as it became tough to move in a pool with so many people and trying to respect space. My daughter did love the slide though! Would I stay again? If the other locations i feel more valued at are not available, sure.

We had a reservation on July 25, 2023, for a room with two queen beds to accommodate our family of 3. We were running a bit late leaving NS, so I checked in in advance on the Bonvoy App at 7:00 pm, noting a 10:00 pm arrival time. We arrived shortly after this time and were promptly informed of the following: - The hotel was oversold - There was no room available for us - We were being walked to the Rodd Moncton - The Rodd definitely had a room available with two queen beds - Our reservation at the Fairfield Inn would be promptly canceled, and all charges refunded - The reservation at the Rodd was all set - The Fairfield Inn would cover the cost of the room at the Rodd Upon arrival at the Rodd Moncton: - We were asked for a deposit which the front desk waived after confirming the other hotel was covering the cost of the room - We were told only one room was available in the hotel, but it did not have two queen beds; instead, it was a tiny room with one double bed masquerading as a queen with no couch or space for a cot. - The bathroom was all of maybe 15 square feet - The toilet was unusable because of a vent buildout in front of it that would force the user to hold one knee to their chest just to sit down (picture below) - The A/C unit was so full of dust and mold that all three of us were stuffed up, coughing and sneezing all night long while desperately trying not to fall off of the side of the tiny bed while dreaming about the two queens that we had initially reserved and were promised that would be at this hotel Fast Forward --＞ My credit card was charged for the stay at the Fairfield Inn after all, and I am still awaiting that refund.

Booked at last minute, best price near airport. Checkin was fast, friendly and very helpful. Room was very clean, super comfortable beds, AC worked perfect and quiet! I missed breakfast in the morning as I misunderstood closing time but they were so nice to pack something for me. Would definitely recommend.

This was the perfect stop on our road trip from Boston to Cape Breton. The hotel is either new or maintained extremely well. Everything was clean and very quiet. The rooms are spacious with a separate sitting area, small refrigerator and microwave and there’s a free breakfast. They have a small pool with a slide and a fitness area. Hotel staff was extremely friendly. Perfect way to start our trip.

This is our go-to hotel in the Moncton area. Kids love it. The only reason I’m giving it 4 star this time is because they have Rogers cable and the cable was down for quite a long time. Hard with teens. Rogers is notorious for outages (at least in Atlantic Canada), and no hotel should rely on them exclusively for service. That being said, the staff and lodgings were wonderful. Special should out to the lady looking after the breakfast. We were there March 11 / 12, 2023. She was an absolute delight. Food was always hot and stocked, and she has great knowledge of the local area. She kept us and the kids well looked after during our times in the dining area. A true asset. Rooms were clean and made up each day. Poor area was busy as it was March Break, but kept clean and towels were stocked. Appreciate the management and employees of this hotel so much. Keep up the great work! We will be back again!!

When you book a block of rooms for a hockey team they separate you all over the hotel and then harass you every 30 minutes when the team congregates in one area claiming that guests are complaining of the noise. Yet they were not willing to provide a space or conference room for the team to avoid them being too loud elsewhere. Do NOT book a team stay at this hotel if you want your children to be able to enjoy themselves!!!
