Struttura incantevole nel borgo antico di Monemvasia. Personale super gentile. Il prezzo è alto ma giustificato dal posto stupendo.

Wife and I had a memorable stay at this quaint hotel. Family run, we were greeted by 2 people that reminded me of yiayia and pappou. We were escorted to our seafront room which was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. On departure we requested help to get our bags to the drop off circle and that was a huge help. Tips - request help up to the hotel with your bags as Monemvasia is an old, charming place with very narrow walkways made of cobblestones. It’s very hilly too, so wear appropriate shoes for climbing up and down the walkways. - bring the least amount of luggage, it’s a lot to get it to your hotel - bring windbreaker, winds can be very strong - bring cat treats- there are cats everywhere - explore- lots of little shops,a lighthouse etc. We would not hesitate to return! Breakfast was included and delicious! Best Greek yogurt on our trip!

Staying at Likinia Hotel was a unique experience in all aspects. We spent four nights there last month and our stay was just amazing. The room and facilities were top quality, as well as aligned with the cozy and old-fashioned character of the castle. We really enjoyed spending our evenings out in the balcony, watching the reflection of a full moon on the surface of the sea! Breakfast was also delicious and rich. There was impeccable cleanliness, great hospitality, excellent behavior from owners and staff, etc. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody!

A beautiful oasis tucked away in the quieter part of Monemvasia. Immaculately clean rooms are dotted around the reception in conversions of these ancient buildings. Parking is on the road leading up to the main town gate, and is about 1km walk along narrow cobbled streets to get to the hotel, so pack light !!! Breakfast is good and varied, and Monemvasia despite its picture postcard appeal was not overrun by tourists in mid October. A wonderful 2 night stay. To be recommended!!

This hotel is amazing! Great views, with a 4 minute walk to swim/snorkel. They include a great home cooked breakfast, and the owners/staff (Alex) are very friendly and they hustle to help you in any way possible. Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. We booked one room but upon arrival were offered a better room with a patio.

A very comfortable hotel. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast area is nicely situated. We had a great view from our room. Wi fi is a little slow but the walls are 2-3 feet thick ! This hotel is a great choice for Monemvasia- book it if you can !

Such a unique stay as a family at this great hotel! We'd happily stay again. Rooms are super clean, traditional with a modern twist, spacious and comfortable. Great views, great breakfast each morning, great service from staff. Some tips: - If travelling by own rental car, drop off family members at the castle gate with luggage and get spouse to find a parking spot somewhere on the road that leads up to the castle. May take a few u-turns to find one but you will, then you'll have to walk up. There is no parking inside the castle. - Call the hotel Likinia reception (the daughter speaks moderate English) and ask for porter to come help with luggage and guide you to the reception. - there are several hotels within the castle complex, so you will need the porter to lead you there. - travel lightly (don't take too many bags) if you're staying here as there are loads of steps. - take shoes that will be comfortable for lots of walking inside the complex - no high heels. - There is a sign not far from the Hotel that indicates where you can take a dip in 'Sea' - take a towel, wear your bathers and join locals in an invigorating dip in the sea. Just keep an eye on the weather and winds. The owners are super lovely. The older couple don't speak a lot of English, but their adult children do. A really enjoyable experience and we can't wait to go back. Enjoy!

Lovely accommodation, we were given a room with outside seating at no extra cost. Delightful, friendly hosts & a great breakfast, too, ready to start a day exploring the Upper Town (leave straight after breakfast to do the bulk of the climb before it gets too warm!).

Located inside the "Monemvasia castle", Likinia offers everything a modern hotel would offer: a large and very clean room, a comfortable bed, a small but well-equipped bathroom, a delicious breakfast, is close to the main street where most of the restaurants are located and, last but not at least, friendly and helpful hosts. However, remember, if possible, to avoid carrying large bags to access any hotel inside the "castle".

Beautiful Hotel in the heart of the old town/Castro Monemvasia. Owners were very friendly and provided wonderful service. We were upgraded to a family room and a triple for the same price as two triple rooms. The rooms were beautiful with very tasteful furniture and windows looking onto a picturesque courtyard. Breakfast was excellent with great service and again in a very atmospheric part of the courtyard with flowers and light streaming into the covered area where breakfast was served.

A wonderful gem in the fort of Monemvasia !!! Clean rooms with very friendly staff Maria and Alex !!! It's a little walk through the fort . My advise is if you stay in the fort bring a carry on luggage or a small duffle bag ... Breakfast was fantastic with many choices all prepared on premises !

Likinia is a new hotel, but it blends seamlessly with its surroundings in the old fortress. The room was beautiful and very well appointed. Breakfast on the terrace was a treat; the nearby areas are covered with orange groves, and the freshly squeezed orange juice at Likinia was the best I’ve ever tasted. The sweet proprietor and staff care about the hotel, and it shows.
