The worst experience of our lives. Very aggressive towards their clients. Awful place run by a extremely violent manager from Switzerland or Austria. Simply do not book anything here, there are far better and cheaper spots in the area where you don't need to fear aggressive personnel.

We stayed the first 2 weeks of July - 2 adults & 2 teens (15 & 13). We had a really lovely time. Accommodation: we stayed in a 3-bedroom Premium with Homair& Eurocamp. Things we loved- Aircon; beds made up on arrival; v comfy beds; dishwasher; USB ports throughout; very good Wifi. Things we didn't love- shower was a bit tricky to get the temperature right. People: have to say the staff were wonderful throughout- special mention to the lovely lady who works on the meat counter in the supermarket- she had little english, we had less Spanish- but she chatted away to us when we were there. Food: the supermarket on site is well stocked and reasonably priced. The takeaway is good value an portions are generous. We ate at La Terrassa twice, nice menu and good service. Pool & Beach: the pool area is nice. I quite liked the no sun loungers. The artificial grass is quite soft. Loved the beach (my 2 love swimming). Gets to a good depth quite quickly. Beach is quite pebbly. Entertainment: we didn't go to the shows; so can't comment. Jordi (magician) was doing table magic one night in La Terassa- he was brilliant. There was fireworks on the beach another night- almost felt like we were in the display - amazing. Nearby - we had a hire car so did a bit of exploring. We did a 3 day pass for Portaventura (25 min drive). Loved the theme park; Aqua park was good but not as spectacular. Spent a day in Tarragona (20 min drive) ; lovely town. Would we go back - yes, I would happily go back.

We had a really special holiday here and I would like to book to return in Easter 2025. The accommodation was basic but great for the price and had everything we needed , we had a lovely decking area where we could eat outside. I was a bit nervous of the kids playing outside as cars sometimes went past but cars did seem to go quite slowly. My kids (3,5,8) really enjoyed it, they made friends outside the caravan and loved the cats walking around. The grounds were immaculately kept, lovely trees everywhere, for me this made it feel lush. Pool and splash park really we laid out. The life guards tended to blow their whistles a lot, it did feel a bit strict. My middle kid is bit shy and didn’t want to go in pool towards end of holiday as was worried about whistle. Sensitivity on his part but life guards were definitely pretty strict! Local shop had what we needed. The Restaraunt that was open had lovely staff but the food was mediocre, the tapas didn’t taste like authentic Spanish tapas, it arrived suspiciously quick. However, Enjoyed the friendly services and the fact the play park was right Next to Restaraunt kids. I also got my hair coloured at the spa by the Columbian stylist Luis. He did the nicest job! He had a really friendly nature and even let me practise my broken Spanish with him. Definitely A highlight of my trip.

We were disappointed. No loungers, parasols or shade at the swimming pool (!!). Slow service. Our inflatable and ball were stolen from the pool and no one cared. The beach is unattractive and neglected. Almost broke a toe on a stone playing beach volleyball- the court is full of stones and unprepared. The app is very basic. Some staff rude. Zero activities for young teenagers. No atmosphere.

We stayed with Eurocamp for 6 days at Playa Montroig which was our first time doing a eurocamp in Spain. We travelled as a family of 6. Children aged 14, 12, 11 & 4. We flew into Reus and it was about a 15 minute transfer. Firstly you check in at the main reception, they give you your wristbands and then direct you where to go to check in with eurocamp. The lady that checked us in was lovely and kept chatting and getting the kids involved which we liked. There is a small tax to pay if you arent aware, for our stay it was something like 7 euros. We then made our way to eurocamp reception which again, staff very welcoming and friendly. They all have little golf style buggies which they took our luggage to our caravan for us. We booked the basic comfort xl caravan as for us it is always just a base so dont see the point in spending a fortune on the fancier ones when we are only there to sleep. Beds were made on arrival, it was clean and had all the basics we needed. We were in zone f which was about 5 minute walk (with a slow 4 year old in tow) to the pool area and about 7/8 minute walk to the main area where shops etc were. About 10 minute walk to the beach. The whole site was immaculate we couldnt fault any of that and all staff friendly where it was work men, pool staff or bar staff. The pool area was our favourite and the kids loved it. The life guards do like to blow the whistles quite a lot but the vice of that is atleast they are on the ball. My only gripe with the pool would be the shop sell a huge amount of floaties which our children wanted however after buying them and going to the pool.. you cant use them!!! So a note in the shop would have been a nice warning. Same for the snorkel sets you can use the masks but not the mount pieces. So yeah after buying 3 of each was a bit miffed that we couldnt then use especially when its the shop on site selling them. We did venture down to the beach but it was a no go for us. It is very choppy waters which would have been ok but it's so stoney in the water the waves keep pushing you back which then meant youd hurt your feet. Not ideal for little ones. The hotel had a FREE bus that ran for july & august to take you to portaventura which took around an hour due to other site pick ups but was a big bonus for us. The reception staff were great in telling us about it and how to get there. Portaventura itself was great but id avoid if you hate ques. We were there 11 hours and the older children only got on 4 rides. They loved it and it is what it is. There is a little bakery open on a morning which served AMAZING fresh pastries. We loved our walk to get breakfast from here. The supermarket was reasonably priced for being on site and had everything you would need. The meat wasnt cheap but it was absolutely beautiful especially the array of flavoured kebabs they did. We only really ate out at the pool bar which we found reasonable.
