A hidden gem. Warmly greeted by our hosts and offered a cold drink. Our beautifully appointed room had a cold , carafe of Sauvignon Blanc waiting for us. Delicious. Gardens are lovely, lots of seating areas to lounge or sit and a splash pool. Our host had made a reservation at Church 22, a local restaurant just in case we wanted dinner and dinner was great. Bed so comfortable and slept well. Breakfast on the terrace had everything we needed. Would stay again in a heartbeat if ever that way again.

Everything was fantastic, from the Town to the guest house, too the Host to the rooms to the gardens and even the breakfast gets 10 out of 10. thanks to our hosts, wee will be back.

Excellently located in Montagu close to the many restaurants/bar. Warm welcome from hosts. Lovely setting with views over mountains and plenty of wildlife to watch. Breakfasts were superb. Will stay here again when we are next in area.

My husband and I had a fabulous time at Montagu. The views were amazing, lots of bird life. The breakfast was beautifully presented and simply delicious! Pam and her husband were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. We wished we could have stayed a couple of more days!

We can recommand this B&B highly! All was excellent: Comfortable beds, spacious (bad) rooms, Good location (walking distance from city center), very friendly hosts and staff and excellent breakfast!

We had a most fantastic day enjoying the splendour of this picturesque guest house.Everything about was 5 star, including the hosts.The bedews so comfortable.The views from the bedroom were amazing.The breakfast was amazing, with great views of the landscape.Birds of many variety were feeding on the bird feeder yards away.

We recently spent the weekend consisting of a two night's stay with our most welcoming hosts, Pam and Anthony at their amazingly, most beautiful guesthouse set in a tranquil and peaceful setting, surrounded by majestic mountains and boasting the most glorious of gardens! ,The rooms are so tastefully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts served on the terrace were out-of-this- world and the staff all so kind and friendly! This was our second stay at Montagu Vines and we are eagerly hoping to plan a third visit in the not too distant future! Wonderful hosts! Montagu Vines comes most highly recommended!

Luxury bedroom with amazing view of the mountain over the little dam. It was a pleasure to be awoken early with the egyptian geese calling to each other and later at breakfast, watching the guinea fowls scratching for food. The roses were in abundance and the garden created a serene atmosphere. A hearty breakfast was served on the verandah under the shade of trees and umbrellas. Will definitely be back.
