Monterey Beach Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel recensioner

Everything was good except the fact of someone pounding on my door at 1:00am then they took off! It was ridiculously unacceptable as they think it’s funny! Other then that, the view of the beach from our room was spectacular. Well worth the cost. Checking in/out was quick and easy.

We got married at this hotel, 10 years ago and decided to celebrate our 10 year anniversary here last week. The lobby check in and bar redone beautifully under the new ownership name. The rooms were horrible. The furniture bathroom floor and carpet were disgusting. The bathroom curtain was falling off and we crossed our fingers, hoping to have a curtain for the two days we were there. the carpet from the room to the bathroom was frayed and pulled up and if we were not tripping on it, we would step on it and it would poke us and cut our feet. I am glad we did not bring kids because there was so many people smoking **** that it was in the air. We have stayed in Monterey at other hotels for half the cost and had a much better experience.

it's a great environment for families and friends. right on the beach. it is windy so come prepared with cold weather clothing. can't wait to go back

Enjoyed every night here. Complimentary adult beverage at the bar first night stay of the hotel was nice. But the best part was knowing 24 hr beach access right in front of our room was the best decision I ever made. Views were great. Not too far from down town. Definitely would recommend.

Great location, didn’t use much of the facilities, it was only a 2 night stay to see the aquarium. It was worth the extra few bucks to have the great beach access and the outdoor shower to rinse off before going back to the room.

房間太簡陋了，有點像汽車旅館的感覺！不過如果按照汽車旅館算的話，還是不錯的，地理位置臨海，方便下海玩

A few days ago, we had a great breakfast with an incredible view! As a mom of two very energetic toddlers, I wasn’t expecting such a peaceful setup, but everything was perfect. The booths were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for the stroller. The kids were mesmerized by the ocean view, and Denis made sure we were well taken care of, despite the usual chaos. The scenery of Monterey Bay made the whole morning feel even more special. Thanks, Denis, for the warm and friendly service—it really made our meal stress-free and enjoyable!…

I don’t often make reviews, but this visit deserves one. I came in hungry for a good steak, and Denis suggested his favorite. It didn’t disappoint—perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. His recommendation made all the difference, and the quality was worth it. If you’re craving a great steak, this is the one to try.

Had a great stay, very clean, room updated, not one bug on walkway in front of rooms, pillows were soft & comfortable. Josh @ the front desk gave us a great check-in Experience. Dennis @ The Latern restaurant was very friendly & helpful showing us a great place to watched the sunset, where to keep a lookout for whales and dolphins and about the different landmarks on top of explaining about the menu & giving us a great table. Anna our dinner server was friendly and helpful with explaining how the different entrée were prepared. The black cod and the pork loin definitely exceeded our expectations, along w/ my husband's birthday dessert which was a special bread pudding. Tori our breakfast server was friendly, funny & accommodating.

Had the pleasure of my work putting me up there over this weekend, and for starters the hotel is stunning. But on top of that, the bar was over the top. Avery was all by herself last night, and she went about it with grace. There were lots of needy people at the bar, and she smiled at every single one, made a conversation with every single one, and never looked flustered for a second. It was packed! I’m so happy I got to meet her and she made my experience beyond pleasant. Thank you Avery!!
