Tap water is potable—there’s no need to purchase bottled water. We also encourage thoughtful water and energy use as part of our eco-conscious approach. A Few Helpful Notes -Please keep windows and doors closed when away, as monkeys have been known to sneak inside. - Insects are a normal part of forest life here. They’re harmless and play an important role in the local ecosystem. During dry season, we recommend you use repellent as there are tiny mites (in leaf litter) that, although harmless, cause a mighty itch.
