Senda Monteverde Hotel Member of the Cayuga Collection

Out of all my travelling adventures around the world and staying in many hotels this is by far my favourite. What an impressive place to stay. The grounds and cabins are pure sustainable luxury. Each cabin is well stocked with complementary items and is immaculately clean and tidy. I particularly loved the personal note welcoming us to the hotel and the evening service of warming our rooms before we get back, as it can get a bit cold when the sun goes down. The surrounding wildlife is amazing, don’t been surprised to regularly see humming birds, giant butterflies, agouti and coati’s among other species. There are amazing spots placed around the grounds for watching and listening or just to grab some sun. The staff are outstanding and genuinely beautiful people from the reception staff, catering staff, cleaners and ground maintenance staff. So incredibly friendly and helpful. The food has also been outstanding. I really can’t describe how special this place is. I love the ethos and the Cayuga Way. Would 100% recommend this hotel and would love to return one day as it now holds a special place in my heart.

This is a beautiful facility - individual bungalows with porches, easy access to hiking trails and beautiful grounds. The staff is very professional and helpful - including golf cart rides back to our room after dinner in the rain. The restaurant was very nice and accommodated an early morning breakfast for our tour. This was the best food that we had in Costa Rico. Location is great to get to all of the activities in Monteverde. We really enjoyed both the hotel and the Monteverde area - one of our favorites on our trip to Costa Rico.

Beautiful hotel in Monteverde! Monkeys outside the door. Birds everywhere. Was a great introduction to Costa Rica for us! They also have a reserve walking distance from the hotel. Which was beautiful and so easy to access. Town is also a 5 minute drive away. Great service and great restaurant on site. Highly recommend!
