The hotel keeper makes it a very good place to stay. The breakfast is good. The house is spacious. The service is great. Appreciated very much.

The beds were very comfortable and the overall cabin was a great size for 5 people. Roy and the other staff were very helpful and ensured that we were looked after. The site has a beautiful view of the sunset and it gave our trip a little extra enjoyment. Roy offered fantastic restaurant recommendations and he has always available to answer our questions and help us out. Highly recommend!! Gary and family

We stayed 2 nights here & were so happy that we didn’t want to leave. The little cabin was so cute & had everything we needed . Having our breakfast delivered to us was great but the main reason was that Roy was so helpful! Location good & so peaceful

We loved our stay here! The setting is breathtaking, the cabin was clean and comfortable, the wind was magical, and the hosts were kind and welcoming. We will definitely recommend this property to others and hope to return ourselves in the future. Thank you!

We rented cabins 1, 2 and 3 for a family vacation. All three cabins were in pristine condition and looked almost brand new. The grounds are lovingly maintained and so beautiful to explore. Breakfast was a delight on our patios with plenty of bird watching and one can’t beat coffee in the hammock. Roy took care of all our sight seeing and was a wonderful conversationalist. Our party of seven did not have a car, but we didn’t need one. Roy arranged transportation for our outings and called taxis for dinner. And, the taxis in Santa Elena were very inexpensive. Highly recommend! This place is a gem!

Such a fantastic place to stay! Our cabin was amazing with huge rooms, 4 double beds and 2 en-suites and a kitchen with great coffee in the morning, they also deliver breakfast to your cabin in the morning which is lovely. The grounds are great with a trail and walk around the areas they grow their own veg. Slightly depressing “aviary” with sad looking birds but apart from that this place is great and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for two nights while exploring Monte Verde. The location was fantastic - we could walk into town for dinner (beware the way there very much uphill - great for us but may be difficult for some), but back at the hotel it was quiet and the grounds were beautiful. It felt like a real escape. Our kids loved the dogs and the hammock, and raved about the gallo pinto. Because the property is big, the cabins are pretty spread out, so we didn’t worry about our kids being kids and making some noise. The folks who run the place are lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we head back to Monteverde!

My husband turned 62 and look what these lovely people made on our bed! The welcome was also very compleet and friendly. We can highly recommend this place. The room is clean and the breakfast wil be brought to your room. 👍🏻

The grounds are fantastic, full of tropical orchids, plants and birds. They also have trails that rival that of the local parks. I photographed Motmots, hummingbirds, jays and warblers while there. The breakfast is great and well worth the cost. The street hides the beauty of the grounds, so do not be fooled by what it looks like from the street. I wish we had stayed longer.
