Durango is a 40 minute drive, Telluride is a 1 hour and 15 minute drive over some of the best Mountains view’s in the world. So make the Birds Nest your base camp to adventure. The views are to die for! Super cute had everything but washer and dryer. Woke up to roosters and sunrise. Great experience for someone from the East coast side of our beautiful nation.

Wonderful home stay The Birds Nest was the perfect spot in Cedar Mesa, conveniently located across from the national park entrance. The home is very clean, wonderful view, well stocked kitchen and linens. We hope to go back another time to explore more of the area. Wonderful hosts!! Laurie

Fabulous location to Mesa Verde My sister and I stayed at the Bird's Nest in late Sept. 2024. It was fabulous. Very quiet and comfortable. We loved the deck for watching the sunrise/sunset with a glass of wine. Very quiet. The kitchen was so well stocked. The location couldn't have been better for visiting Mesa Verde. Jeff and his wife were wonderful hosts - answered questions quickly and were available for restaurant recommendations :)
