Travelodge by Wyndham Montreal Centre recensioner

A decent hotel in downtown Montreal but sadly has limited parking availability. On the first day, we couldn't find parking in the hotel and had to use street parking, which costs $7 for 1.5 to 2 hours. The hotel charges $35 per day for parking, which seems excessive since guests are already paying for their rooms. Breakfast is also very basic and standard nothing fancy. On the plus side, the hotel is conveniently located near Chinatown and other downtown attractions, and it's only a 15-20 minute drive to the famous church. I would recommend this hotel if you're planning a short stay in downtown, like for two days.

The usual good Travelodge experience: simple, very clean and adequate rooms. Comfortable bed! The included breakfast was a continental buffet, with tasty croissants and good coffee. The downstairs gym was a nice surprise - not big but enough for a workout. Overall, an enjoyable stay for 2 nights

After knowing that due to the snowstorm on Feb 12/13th and where 400 security staff and screeners called in sick, caused many flight delays and cancellations out of Toronto Pearson, I couldn't make my reservation to Montreal. This hotel would not refund me or offer another date. I will remember this and never book this hotel chain again. Unprofessional, shortsighted, low business sense displayed by this hotel chain

Room was a little small and no complementary water provided. However, their breakfast was great. Love their croissants. Very buttery.

Great stay. Only disappointment was it was a cold only breakfast.

Nice experience but the cleaning staff entered in the room without our permission and also took the water bottles.

A clean hotel near chinatown with lots of food options. We booked a quad room and its very compact but ok for a short stay.

I don’t recommend this pigeon holes. In the advertising was looks better but reality was very bad and I can hear other room people’s talking

My partner and I took a spontaneous trip and were looking essentially for somewhere to crash as we came and went. For the price, Travelodge does the job. I read complaints that the rooms were “too small” but for a couple, we found that we did not need more space than we got. It was not spacious by any means, but we weren’t cramped either. The location is great, Chinatown is right down the road (with great food and places to check out) and there is good nightlife within a 5-10 minute walk. For our demographic, this was a great place to stay. One thing that my partner minded (but I didn’t) was that the breakfast available was only cold, and mostly prepackaged. There were no scrambled eggs, protein, etc. and while it held me over for a few hours, my partner is more picky than I am. We ended up not utilizing our second (included) breakfast and went elsewhere. If you’re looking for a good budget hotel, this will likely not disappoint.

The location of Travelodge was Central to the activities I had planned for my trip. The room was tiny. I had paid for a big room with double beds as the picture and description had said but what I got was a small room with one small bed. I had to share a bed with my friend. To say I was very surprised was an understatement Why will trip.co. post a picture which is false?. They had same type of breakfast. Bread, boiled egg, cereal and fruit. If you don't eat bread or eggs, you will definitely be on your own. One thing i really enjoyed was the location. Will I use Travelodge next time? I doubt but you never know.

We arrived at our hotel early and were able to do a precheck so we could park right away then head off to explore. Staff were friendly and helpful That’s all the good comments Now the not so good Our room - was so tiny the door hits the bed when you enter the room with barley room to come in and put luggage The door also stuck shut - it took the two of us to pull it open - almost sending us flying when it finally released Nespresso coffee maker - no kettle no tea - we are tea drinkers - none available All ice machines in entire hotel out of order Restaurant / Bar only open for breakfast We were advised by the front desk to go across the street and purchase a bag of ice …. Not sure what we were supposed to do with a full bag - just wanted a bit to make cocktails before going out for the evening In hind sight wish I had of and then set up a table in the lobby and sold it for a buck a cup’!

Terrible place to stay. Room size is as tiny as a bathroom, also the breakfast is limited even though they take money from Everyone. They say that breakfast is over an hour before the time. Please avoid this place as much possible.
