The hotel is very big and consists of many facilities, especially for children like playground, small swimming pool, mini club or disco. For adults there are typical facilities and evening enternainment every day. Living conditions in bungalows were very good. Food was good and various (like almost always in Greece). Happily the sunbeds in the beach were for free in August/September. The small disadvantage were sunbeds occupied by towels since early morning - that was the first time I've seen.

Guarantee that every single excellent review is fake, written by people with one contribution. All the comments about the place being 2* are spot on, as are the comments about the Facebook group. That Katherine woman won't allow a single gripe and I got kicked out of the group. My wife can read it though. I've been to plenty of 3* Greek AI hotels with no restrictions on what drinks you can have, and 4* Caribbean places that would blow Katherine's mind! They have restaurants that have foods that go together. Messonghi Beach thinks putting bolognaise sauce (no pasta), spring rolls and rabbit meat is a normal combination. Please save your money and book elsewhere. If it wasn't for the wonderful Soula's travel company up the road, and the fabulous 75 Steps and the cocktail bar with the waterfall we would have had a terrible time for our 10th Wedding Anniversary

Service was below average, I think staff had had a long summer. AI drinks weren't good. The spirits were unbranded, which is expected but the mixers were so sickly sweet we found them undrinkable. The large restaurant was like a canteen, long queues and the food lukewarm. Everything looked and felt a little tired. I have since heard that the hotel is under 'new ownership'???

I visited in October and didn't enjoy my stay. I subsequently left a very scathing review on here. My review was one of many bad reviews. My review and the others were removed shortly after as 'the business was now under new management'. Weird I thought but accepted it. I have today checked and have been surprised that there are 5 star reviews for the time of my visit. However, all the 5 stars are from first time contributors. I'm just a little suspicious and think you should be too.

Worst holiday we’ve had. And it’s also put us of Corfu aswel. On arrival which was very late, we were left with a paper map and told to go find our own room in the dark. Not a great way to greet new guests. Hotel very run down! Food very poor quality. And cold. No live cooking stations and big queues. Drinks bad. And decent cocktails you have to pay for. Room okay but the bathroom stank from the drains. Around the hotel smells of sewage and it’s not pleasant. Floods a lot when it rains. And then smells worse. Little games room was good. Yes you have to pay for tickets. Entertainment lacked in the daytime. Beach and sea was nice. Pools not good at all. Very small. And filled with sea water when we were there. The area around the pool was dirty never saw it cleaned and spilled drinks just left. Unfortunately that causes more wasps, there are everywhere. Hotel relations lady was horrible and rude. Witnessed the reception man use toilet and not wash his hands. Which leads me to the amount of sickness that was going around the place. It was horrendous. And trying to get someone to clean room or change bedsheets was a joke. They didn’t care. Jet2 rep had a queue every time with dissatisfied customers and I’m not surprised. Will NEVER return. Facebook page ran by Kathryn is a joke she doesn’t allow any negative so be written so beware when she praises and praises.
