Mwanzo Lodge

I will never visit Mwanzo lodge (Naivasha) again. I wouldnt encourage anyone too. TVs in the rooms not working. Meals are damn expensive (7k). The management (3 guys) very rude and unprofessional. My family and I were chucked out on 01 Jan 2025 at night, for questioning all these.

I stayed at the Mwanzo lodge as part of a group travel tour. This was one of the best lodges we stayed at. When we arrived the staff already greeted us with a local welcome drink and sang for us. In general, this must have been the most musical group of people working there we encountered during our travels. A special shoutout goes to Cynthia for her amazing dancing skills and joyful presence. She and her colleague even adjusted the playlist to our drinks ;-) The singing and dancing to transfer us from dinner to the bar for some evening drinks was a fun touch! The rooms were big, clean and I had a perfect view from my balcony from which I could enjoy the sunset. The only downside was that getting warm water in the shower was a bit of a struggle. I found out towards the end of my first shower that the hot and cold water were reversed :D. Food was fantastic. The location to eat outside is a bit too windy sometimes - I think Germans freeze a lot quicker than Kenyans. The next evening we were given an indoor location, so the staff definitely picked up on that. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area, I'd definitely recommend this lodge!

Castle on the hill. My stay at Mwanzo Lodge was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking views that surrounded the hotel. Perched atop a hill, the vistas from every corner of the property were nothing short of spectacular. The staff were also a highlight of my stay. Warm, welcoming with music, singing and dancing - hakuma matata. They were attentive to every need, they went above and beyond to ensure that our visit was nothing short of perfect. Whether recommending local attractions, arranging transportation, or simply offering a friendly smile, their hospitality was truly exceptional. So was their food and ist presentation. Asante sana

What a lovely place up in the hills with superb views. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Service was excellent and food well presented and very tasty. Wifi good throughout and good selection of drink at the bar. Would recommend for anyone looking for a romantic getaway

It's a very quiet place if you really want peace of mind.Nice views because it's well located at the hill top.The restaurant is very clean and neat.Friendly staff and there is a pool table at the restaurant which is quite interesting
