Cotswold Grey

Great location in the heart of the town, this place is above a gorgeous home furnishings and decor shop. You enter from the street behind it, through gardens with statuary from the shop. You’ve got to drag your bags up an exterior staircase which is a pain but when you're in, past the hall entryway, there’s a large if simple kitchen. To the right, a lovely large living room and small dining table. The TV is far too small for the space. But the furnishings came from the shop below so they're expensive and gorgeous. There wasn’t enough lighting in the main space, so we felt we couldn't enjoy what it was meant to enjoy. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. The ensuite bedroom had no way to get in fresh air as it was in an enclosed space, but it has a good sized modern bathroom. The 2nd bedroom with its queen bed had windows facing the back so fresh air. The 2nd bathroom which you enter from the main hallway, is modern and open but like the ensuite bathroom doesn’t have an outlet for a blow dryer. So quite the challenge to find an outlet; and inadequate lighting where you could find an outlet so no way to see what you’re doing. The owners have great style but didn’t think form follows function. If you’re prepared for a few challenges, it is well located, well decorated.

Excellent 2 bedroom apartment in centre of Moreton-In-Marsh. Very well furnished and spacious, plenty of room for 4 adults. Welcome basket with bottle of Prosecco much appreciated. Comfortable bed, fluffy towels. Great place for a mini break in nice Cotswold town with good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops.

We stopped in the Lapwong for 5 nights. The apartment is pure luxury with a very comfortable bed, a full kitchen and loads of nice touches. We especially liked the Dyson fan as it was very warm last week. It would have been nice to have an outside space, but apart from that, it is perfect

We arrived at Cotswold Grey mid afternoon to the Furniture shop where the service apartment is located right above the shop. The first impression is great, nice, comfortable. The living room with a dining table for 4 is large and cosy, though lighting is on the dim side. Flat 1 is what was booked and it comes with a well equipped kitchen. The 2 bedrooms are comfortable though bedroom 2 is a little tight with bathroom outside. The owner is thoughtful providing all the basic necessity like cereal, a one litre bottle of milk, etc. The unit is well located and ear a launderette near by. Highly recommend.
