Nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. 1. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location is inaccurately marked on Google Maps, making it incredibly difficult to find. Despite this being a known issue, the staff failed to inform us beforehand, leaving us to struggle to locate the property. 2. Room Quality and Cleanliness The rooms were far below the standard promised by the hotel. Their website photographs are highly deceptive. The bathroom had permanent stains, a broken door handle, and the TV (with Tata Sky) was non-functional. The room was filthy, with cockroaches and even a lizard. Despite booking for three people, supplies like towels, toiletries, and water bottles were provided only for two. Repeated requests for essentials like dental kits, shower caps, and soap were ignored. 3. False Renovation Claims Before we booked, the GM, Gursharan, assured us on the phone that the rooms were recently renovated, but this was far from true. The property appeared old, poorly maintained, and clearly neglected. 4. Restaurant Experience The restaurant was another major letdown. The food quality was appalling—parathas were served with tissue paper stuck to them, and the menu was extremely limited. Beer was always warm, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was poor. Staff were unhelpful, and there was no proper system for taking orders or cleaning tables. 5. Medical Emergency Mismanagement When we faced a medical emergency due to a muscle sprain, the hotel didn’t have a first aid kit or any support system in place. Despite repeated requests for assistance or a doctor on call, no help was provided. We had to walk 2 km with an injured leg to find medicine. 6. Security and Service On New Year's Eve, we returned at midnight to find the reception unattended, and no one answered our calls. We had to search through the drawers ourselves to retrieve our room keys, which poses a serious security risk. 7. Staff Attitude The staff, from reception to housekeeping and even the GM, displayed a shockingly indifferent and laid-back attitude. Housekeeping was delayed until late afternoon, and any requests were met with apathy or outright disregard. 8. Early Check-Out Our plan was to extend our stay (before we arrived) for a week, but due to the unending issues and the unprofessional behavior of the staff, we checked out and moved to another property. Final Verdict Staying at this Hotel was an exhausting and unpleasant experience. The property is poorly maintained, and the staff lacks any sense of professionalism or responsibility. Even the GM admitted that he was simply "passing time" before moving somewhere else, reflecting the lack of care at every level. AM Kollection manages this property, it’s not their own property and as we were told the handover is still in progress.
