Had a lovely meal here last night. The food was great and also the manager, Ethan was nice and friendly, too. Another plus is that this lovely pub is only a couple of miles away from where we are staying. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely night here, before setting off for the coastal path walk. The room had everything we needed, and was spotlessly clean. There was a tray for walking boots which is such a good idea! We ate at the pub (great pie) and the breakfast was excellent - and included fresh fruit, a rare and welcome addition. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed one night in room 4. We stayed here about 5 years ago and I don’t think anything has changed since then. The bedroom was quite dark, not the lighting but the decor. Our bed was comfortable, T.V. kettle, tea & coffee, wardrobe that smelt quite musty. The shower room was quite small, a rain shower head was way too big for the cubicle. We had a nice meal in the lounge, lovely waitresses. Breakfast was a limited choice of cooked items. The accommodation could do with a refurb.

Phoned an hour before for a table for two and they managed to fit us in. Waitress very friendly and helpful despite being very, very busy. Food was traditional 'pub grub' but very nice. Will definitely return when next in the area. Would recommend.

We visited The Plough twice while staying at a nearby holiday park. The meals were great and the service friendly and efficient. I’ve given a deserved 5 stars but couldn’t last orders for meals be extended beyond 20.00. We look forward to our next visit.

Called in for lunch coming back from Morpeth. It was very quiet inside, just three others in the dining room. There were plenty of tables to accommodate couples, families and bigger groups. To say how quiet it was the food was lovely and cannot fault the service, but then there were only five of us in the restaurant.

Had fixed price evening meal here tonight. Good choice of 2 courses. Food tasty and good sized portions. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Cleanliness appears to be of a good standard. Easy and plentiful parking. Would visit again if in area.

Took my elderly mother and mother in law for lunch. We were served by a lovely young lady, Imogen, she was polite and helpfull. She went the extra mile to make our lunch experience nice and understood the needs of the clientel she was serving. Lunch was lovely, nice size portions and a good lunch time deal.

It’s a lovely pub but there were too many young girls acting like kids and vaping inside, it felt rather uncomfortable as visitors to the area which is a shame. It definitely needs more friendly staff behind the bar too, again all young girls.
