Being situated in this small village, we feel that it is important to have our rooms being self-catering and hence we provide basic kitchenette for our guests to do some simple cooking, and some snacks at the reception for guests to purchase. We too are a great fan of the amazing views all around our motel! :)

It is great to hear the location made hiking at Mount Cook very convenient. We recognise that food options are limited in the area and there's no supermarket, so we always encourage our guests to bring their own food, but we also ask our guests to be mindful and avoid cooking strongly spiced foods, as those may linger in the rooms and may be undesirable for our next guests.

As we are situated in this small village, we always encourage our guests to buy their groceries before coming to Mt Cook and also sell some limited foods at our reception, like eggs and instant noodles! :)
