I am still at the hotel which I have found to be excellent value. I often visit Egypt this time of year and although the weather in Tunisia is not as good, this hotel is certainly as good as many more expensive hotels in Egypt and I have been to a lot from £30/night to £150/night. The two pool areas are pleasant, one with animation team and music, the other more peaceful. The rooms are not large but perfectly adequate, with nice balcony and comfy bed. I am happy enjoying the sunshine and not too concerned with the entertainment etc which seems adequate. The big plus for me is the food. I am finding it quite exceptional and probably the best all inclusive I have encountered. I cannot understand any of the more negative reviews in this regard. The dishes are replenished regularly so are generally hot with a microwave if needed. Lovely Tunisian tagines with lamb, beef and vegetables. Seafood night was amazing with fresh tuna, prawns, squid and much else. Most people seem to enjoy it with little wastage which I have seen in other all inclusive hotels. The only downside on the dining front is the lack of cutlery available after the first rush of people on opening. I seem to find myself trying to find a knife and fork for my table every time! This is my only gripe, otherwise excellent. The drinks are acceptable. Rose wine nice, beer fine and spirits although local were drinkable with branded mixers. It is a 45min walk to Hammamet which I have done once but taxis readily available if needed. The hotel could do with some tlc, for sure, but is amazing value and I would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning in the future.
