Location is 10/10. The room was clean just out dated. There is a fridge and microwave. It could do with an exhaust in the bathroom but it is very much you get what you pay for. We didn’t use the heater but looks like it needs a special key to allow you to use it. I would stay again.

Being a visitor to the area and partner having an accident, I phoned this motel, spoke to a lovely lady, Sally, explained our situation and she very kindly made arrangements for us to check in once my partner was discharged from hospital. Arrived at motel near midnight to find she had put lights on for us. The room was warm and welcoming and the whole experience was a lifesaver for us.

I travel a lot and look for a few key things The bed was very comfortable and the pillows just right for me. The room was very clean A little bit of traffic noise but the room was very quiet after 9pm The reception staff were friendly and polite I will stay again.

Stayed across the Road at Ningana Heritage Houses across the road, managed by the Motel! Photos misrepresent the 3 bedroom apartment/cottage. 3 numbered rooms which look like they can be rented out separately with one shared kitchen and bathroom. No hanging room or cupboards in bedrooms. Beds uncomfortable, plus skirting boards and window sills dirty plus curtains needed cleaning. Air Con filter had fallen behind couch and rising damp with wall paint peeling off. Light switch in bathroom filthy and this has not been COVID cleaned! Curtain falling off in very small living area. Advertising photos totally misrepresent this apartment!

Thank you Sally and Ben for another excellent stay at Ningana. The room is always very clean, spacious for two and comfortable. We appreciate the friendly welcome each time we stay. Awesome wine tours as well. Location is 10/10.

I have stayed at the Ningana many times over the years and lately it has shown the same high standard as before - albeit at an increased price. However it has some advantages, one being that it is adjacent to a shopping centre and the other that it is opposite a good pub for meals, it also has good parking on site and nearby. Check in was pleasant and efficient, crockery and cutlery was freely supplied and the aircon worked a treat in the freezing conditions, can't ask much more, Recommended

We have visited Mudgee often but in recent years (even before Covid) we have found accomodation providers in Mudgee are pricing themselves out of the market. Following booking directly with the motel (and receiving a 30% discount if you book directly) and being advised the room would be $162. When checking in both people in reception were on the phones. I indicated that I was happy to wait and stepped away from the counter. Next minute I am getting hand signals to complete the check-in form and payment. My check in was completed while both staff were still on the phones. Not a nice experience when I indicated I was happy to wait. When we got to the room it was a dark, tired room with a shower curtain in the bathroom and the bed well - I wonder when it was last replaced?
