Big4 Mudgee Holiday Park

Won’t be back We have stayed at a few big4 and this is the worst. Very outdated. Things they say on their website don’t have anymore. No jumping pillow, bbq broken, no pool table no sauna. Sand around play equipment full of bull ants. No cleaning stuff to clean dishes in room. Drinking glasses were dirty. Very disappointed

Was lucky enough to find a cabin for the long weekend, however, our stay was marred by the park's poor amenities. Even though it had a decent pool, a few things were either out of order (like one of the 3 bbqs and the sauna) or falling apart (the pool table needs to be seriously replaced). Overall, the park needs a good refresh. The cabin was small (shower is tiny!!) and barely comfortable, but it's really outdated. There's still an old type clock radio next to the bed. Also, the walls were paper thin and i could hear my kid's moving around during the night. If you're coming, make sure you bring your ear plugs. At the end of the day I suppose you get what you pay for. Had stayed at the Gulgong tourist park during Easter in one of their modern larger cabins and would probably go back there in the future for the same price. Sorry, won't be back until this place has been brought into this century.

TOO NOISY CAME BACK FOR LUNCH ON FIRST DAY AND THE BLOKE ON LEAF BLOWER WAS STILL REARRANGING LEAVES IE MOVING SAME LEAVES FRIM PLACE TO PLACE PERHAPS HE CLEARED LEAVES IFF EACH GREEN SQUARE BUT OVERNIGHT LEAVES ALL BLEW BACK NOISE LEVEL WAS INTOLERABLE WILL NOT BE BACK IF YOU CAN’t come back to camp site during the day very poir Anyone in a Blower pretending to be working is a joke Ok if he was actually removing them but ih not jjst moved from one side to the ofher I Won’t BE BACK

No customer service (eg. guests handed an envelope on arrival without even a hello or welcome let alone guidance around park and facilities), poor facilities (eg. taps missing handles, no facilities in camp kitchen), no management oversight (guests abandoned camp kitchen as it was overrun by a group of 20-somethings playing loud music and taking over multiple tables and chairs, guests playing movies at 10pm loud enough for a dozen nearby guests to hear clearly). Prices exorbitant even allowing for public holiday at $64 for powered site especially when taking above into account. Would not return.

Usually Big4 parks are great but this one didn’t meet my expectations. Dirty camp kitchens and BBQ areas not cleaned once whilst we were there 6 days! And hadn’t been in a while by the state of them! Staff friendly Bathrooms dated but clean Cleaners use the same laundry as guests they really should have their own in their own space. 10pm noise curfew not upheld people laughing and talking to well after midnight! Hard when you need sleep to drive the next day but don’t get much!

The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Our van was too long for the allocated site, they were able to shuffle around and put us on another site. Amenities are exceptionally clean and easy to access. Great access to the centre of town, Kelly’s run a shuttle bus back to their pub.
