Lo Mustang Himalayan Resort

Great hotel with a fantastic western standard throughout. We were upgraded for free and received our own private chalet with high-quality amenities. The food was delicious, and the staff took care of us warmly. It was the perfect place to relax and recover after crossing the Thorong La Pass on the Annapurna Circuit.

I would like to express our satisfaction with our recent stay at Lo Mustang following our puja at Muktinath Temple. We were accommodated in Villa 3004, which featured a family room equipped with one double bed and one single bed. The rooms were well-maintained, and all necessary amenities were provided. My 2 years old kid and my wife loved the place. The resort is located in a stunning setting, offering picturesque views. Additionally, it includes a helipad for those considering travel to Muktinath by helicopter. Regrettably, our visit coincided with cloudy weather, which prevented us from fully enjoying the mountain vistas. For those planning a trip, I recommend scheduling a visit in mid-September to take advantage of clearer skies and the opportunity to appreciate the breathtaking scenery. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Santosh ji for his exceptional hospitality and outstanding service during our stay.

I stayed at the hotel for one night in it's fantastic location that is within easy walking distance of the Muktinath temple and the big Buddha. The hotel was opened recently so it is modern, clean and comfortable. The rooms are large with amazing views of the Himalayas. On site dining and breakfast was very good. Service was warm and friendly. One of the best hotels I stayed at in Mustang.

Customer service is good of this hotel. Staff are friemdly and makes you feel like you are in home not in hotel. Food is excellent. It is the best hotel around muktinath. I personally recommend every tourist to stay at this hotel. The staffs welcome you warmly.

I had an excellent experience at this resort, clearly the best resort in that area. Rooms, food etc are upto standard and service is par excellence. Heating and cooling is available on the room. The manager, Mr. Shrestha went the extra mile and helped with the temple visit etc. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay in Muktinath. One suggestion - the shower area in the bathroom either needs to be enclosed or there should be a shower curtain so that the water does not spill all over the bathroom, particularly when it is very cold.

I stayed for two nights at this very special and beautiful hotel as a much-needed rest spot on my 19-day Annapurna Circuit trek. I was greeted on my arrival by the very attentive manager Alish, and shown to my beautifully-appointed room with spectacular mountain views of the Dhaulagiri range. He had even very thoughtfully turned on the room heater prior to my arrival so that my room was so nice and warm when I got there. This is just superb service. After so many days on trek staying in frigidly cold unheated tea houses, this was the ultimate 5-star luxury in rural high altitude Nepal! My room also had a clean and tidy bathroom with a really hot shower, another ultimate luxury in this part of the world. I enjoyed a great breakfast each day, included with my room price. In warmer seasons of the year there would be great spaces to sit outside and enjoy a beverage, but the weather was definitely already winter-like while I was there. There was also a large and beautifully-decorated lobby/lounge, with antiques and original artwork on the walls. Amazing to see that luxury and great comfort can be available at high altitude in Nepal. Truly a unique and extraordinary place, and I can’t wait to return for a longer stay!

Property is 3 star. 5 star is because of their service and willingness to go extra mile. Looks great from outside. Upon entering. No one at the reception. Have to shout and go to find the staff hiding in the kitchen. Room is a 3 star hotel. But the fact it has hot gas shower and looks a bit modern and a BIG KING size bed is a winner. We were exhausted after a 6 hr of fast trek down from Thorong Pass, sent our laundry at 1130am choosing a same day return. But they can only pass our laundry to us next day at 630am. So pls ensure you've extra clothing :) Food was good. Wine by the glass is ok. Service is extremely slow but not because they're lazy is just that none of them are train properly. You can see they try very hard. I invited my Sherpa and porters for dinner here and they said all the staff should be trained in the mountain to improve their speed :) They have a sauna and jacuzzi. Is still under renovation the building but the reception was so kind to switched on the Sauna just for us as we were freezing in the room. Property is not near the main area of action but if you're here only for 1 night to rest after a series of treks. Is nice to just chill out here. I guess is the best hotel you can find at Muktinath. So I will come back here if I happen to be here again.

We truly enjoyed with the wonderful service provided by the team of the Lo Mustang Himalayan Resort! I felt specially Mr. Govinda Luitel took care of us by his bottom of heart ❤️ I was there with my Malaysian friends lin first week of August 2023! It's lovely resort offers the view of both Buddhist Monasteries and the holy temple Muktinath surroundings, Ranipauwa Village, Jhong Village, Purang Village and Many White Himalayas. I highly recommend you to stay when you visit Muktinath, Mustang! Thank you 🙏😊🙏
