Charming haven - Walk to Town< 8 miles to skiing!

Good ski stay but horrible driveway! ** do not go without four-wheel-drive and really really good snow tires during the winter! There is no snow service with the rental and it is situated on a slick hill and to get into the driveway. There is a cement vertical wall on one side and a rock wall on the lower side. Very slick and scary, especially in a rental car!**The house itself is basic but nice. Three full bedrooms, one with an extra twin and an additional twin in kind of an alcove in the upstairs hall. Plenty of open seating and kitchen space for crowd. But very basic in terms of bedding and towels, etc. But it worked for a ski trip. The comforters and pillows could definitely use a good laundering, though.Was definitely not the cleanest rental I’ve ever been in. And it looked like the upstairs bathroom hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest. Not that big of a deal reasonably clean though.There are plenty of kitchen things. You will need spices. And there are games to use. Other than the driveway it was a nice rental overall.

Hel The house must have been shut up because there was a stale, unpleasant odor. There were small details that need to be addressed; burnt out light bulbs in the bathroom, broken blinds in the living room. No coffee. No curb appeal. One deck board the nails have pulled out, causing a tripping hazard.

Start of the Trail of the Coeur d Alene Up a hill from the trail, but a very nice place to spend the night before starting our bike trip down the trail.
