Some great team members here, upgraded to Junior Suite and lovely breakfast, but..... 45 minute wait for bags to be delivered to our room - not acceptable despite 2 calls chasing the bags whereabouts and it was NOT busy. As regular LC guests- we know beds are epic, not in this case, got into bed and springs could be felt, knowing how good beds normally are I look at the mattress to discover it was upside down. Spring side facing up and the fab memory foam topper side facing the base. Asked the Hotel's GM to respond and I get a standard response from a reservations email, pretty much textbook response. Raised it 2 x during stay and no one was really bothered. I am afraid if you want be 5 star and charge the price, you must get the detail right. Overpriced and far far away from similar LC properties such as Maria Cristina, which is quite frankly out of this world and what LC stands for. Take your cash elsewhere as this hotel doesn't listen, nor is it worth its mark up for what it offers, a way to go to join the LC family standards that have been experienced elsewhere.
