Hotel y Villas Salamar

We stayed here for one night while looking for an affordable option, and overall it was a decent choice for the price. The room was spacious, which we appreciated, though it did feel a bit dated. We did run into an issue with our first room, but the staff quickly switched us, which we were thankful for. That said, the property could use some TLC. The door lock was somewhat broken, and the cleanliness could have been better. Since my husband is a local resident, we didnt have much expectations. Still, for the price we paid, it offered good value overall. Staff don't speak English!

Ok, couldn’t get breakfast, we still went to the place and the guy was trying to charge us . I contacted Ana and said it’s 1 pm and we still trying to eat, he did agree to pack us 10 lunches to make up for missed breakfast . Ana didn’t fix any issues, we couldn’t cancel the next night on ******* we asked Ana listen we deserve a refund at least for one night of the 4 rooms we reserved. Yes of course I will send your bank info and I will send it to you. That was January 4th till this day no response. We couldn’t fathom staying there another night Hell No. ******* needs to remove this place from their website period. Unprofessional unsafe fraudulent service. Not giving what is promised and not providing safety or satisfaction to the customer at all. I felt so bad for the employees because they are fed up of people complaining everyday, they say once you pay Ana or administration doesn’t care, they say let them leave they already paid, this is coming from the employees. They are there to work and they do their best. But please remove this place from here it doesn’t clever deserve to book 1 room. Mind you there were many people complaining in the office. We only stayed because there was no were else to stay and it was already late. But it was a nightmare truly. I will pick pictures up soon . Oh I will add it’s a Shame because this place is right on the beach, beautiful view but that is all you are going to get and we were lucky to find coffee. Thank you to the workers whonhelped.

🤔 First of all not warn or hot water i guess a lot of people like to ask rhat when i arrived i was told we have hot water to find out they didnt the rooms not decent even mosquitos room not okey

This hotel need maintenance and repairs ASAP is falling apart, staff was unprepared and the facilities dirty and poor conditions.

Lo único bueno es la ubicación, pero la limpieza del hotel es pésima, las habitaciones muy mala condiciones, los colchones viejos y duros. El desayuno es aceptable, los empleados muy amables. Pero deben acondicionar el hotel, no están aprovechando su real potencial

Las habitaciones tenían oportunidades y las instalaciones también, entiendo tienen un gran potencial en la ubicación que está el hotel

La habitacion que me toco tenia vista parcial al mar , un sitio muy tranquilo si buscas ir a descansar y desconectarte de la ciudad, ya sea en familia , en pareja o solo. La atencion de el personal fue buena , y el desayuno que me brindaron en la manana. El pueblo de Barahona me queda a 15 minutos y alla hay varios restaurantes y bares.

Las habitaciones son cómodas pero les falta un poco de cariño en mantenimiento estructural y también puede añadir refrigerador y microondas ya que no hay nada cerca para abastecimiento de comestibles o cómodas rápidas.
