Cottage features an open floorplan, t&g and log walls, wood fireplace, large bedroom and loft, cozy sunporch East facing for morning sun overlooking the lake and has a beautiful patio. Electric & wood heat, Cabin can sleep up to 8 comfortably so plenty of room for the family. Tucked in a private cove with towering pines and a 20 x 24 detached garage stores all your toys . Great swimming and fishing located in the Hiawatha National Forest with many trails for hiking and or atv'ing. Easy to launch your boat & includes dock. Catch pike, bass, crappie, perch & sunfish. This property has been well maintained and ready for your vacation use.

Wonderful stay
The cabin is close enough to Pictured Rocks and all that Munising has to offer, restaurants and activities. The cabin had all the needed amenities for cooking, recreation and comfort. My family enjoyed the boats and yard for outdoor play. The host had great communication.

Great stay!
We had a great stay at this cute little cottage. We loved the kayaks and paddle boat. The location was perfect to be able to easily get to pictured rocks.

Kayaking Pictured Rocks
We had a wonderful time kayaking the lake, bon-fires at night and adventuring the area throughout the day. Everything was within a reasonable distance. The bathroom is small getting in around the hot water heater and the loft is small and can't stand up. The rest was wonderful and comfortable. The lot across the street helped out being we had a trailer filled with kayaks. Loved the lights around the property at night. Thanks for the memories.

Rustic lake cabin
I booked this cabin based on the kayaks, canoe and pedal boat and its setting with the proximity to the lake. It is cute and met our needs with easy access to Munising and Pictured Rocks. We had 5 people aged 13 and up and that number seemed about right. The loft sleeping is a true loft. I hadn't paid attention to the lack of AC but that was fine and they had 1 box fan and several smaller fans so that was nice. Reminded of my grandparents lake cabin.

Cozy
We loved this property. My kids learned to kayak while there. We had a wonderful time. The owner was very nice and communicated very well.

Cute getaway cottage for a family
Overall our stay was very good. Having access to the paddle boat and kayaks was enjoyed and we had a little camp fire by the water in the evening. We had fun playing some trivia with Alexa and the well stocked selection of games in the cottage. My only real complaint is that this cottage should not be advertised as 3 bedrooms, it’s one bedroom with two full size beds, a loft space which is great for kids but not fully enclosed, and a day bed in the living room area. It was a little tight for us. Great location although based on the description I thought we would be a little closer to pictured rocks. It was about 28 minutes to miners castle.

Family Vacation 2023
We had a great stay at this cabin. Excellent view of the lake. Kids used the paddle boat. Quiet area out of town. Great time in the Munising area.

This lake house is amazing. Spacious and comfortable with everything needed for a get away. I especially loved the back patio with a table and chairs to view the lake. She provides kayaks and other watercraft that she allows you to use for free. It was truly a wonderful weekend!

Great location
Great location close to Munising and Pictured Rocks. Being able to use the provided kayaks was a pleasure since this property is on a quiet lake in a forested area. Property was very clean and well maintained and communication with the owner was very easy via texting.
