Our 2-night stay at Casa Montana Munnar was nothing short of a nightmare. I booked 2 rooms for 4 family members and paid ₹14,000 upfront, but was still forced to pay an additional ₹3,000 at check-in. The manager took advantage of our late arrival and claimed that because the free cancellation window had passed, the booking terms had changed — completely unjustified and manipulative. He then gave us a completely absurd explanation: only one person per room is included, and any extra person would be charged ₹750 per night. That’s the hotel’s responsibility, not the guest’s. While the rooms were clean, the management is completely corrupt, unprofessional, and dishonest. They’re clearly running a scam on unsuspecting travelers — with fake or paid reviews propping up their rating. Save yourself the stress and avoid this hotel at all costs. There are much better places in Munnar with transparent pricing, honest staff, and actual hospitality — all for the same or even lower price. Casa Montana is a scam in disguise. You’ve been warne
