Wonderful hosts who make you feel at home and go the extra mile to make the stay positive. Easy walk to town centre and train/buses. Rooms a reasonable size and very clean. Access is via a lift which is a little restrictive but patience is a virtue!

The hotel is very nice and the proprietors are both welcoming and helpful. The room was small but adequate and included a small balcony, however, you had to duck to go out to the balcony. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked great! When I booked this, I was of the understanding that someone was at a front desk until 6 PM. It turns out that there is no front desk, and no one to help you if you need anything. They have a number to call but not the same thing. Because we didn't speak Italian, we were not able to call a taxi (they would hang up on us). So, although this is a very nice hotel, if you don't speak the language, you may want a full service hotel.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 couples. One room was charged 420 CHF the other 390 CHF for 1 night. The price is way too much for both rooms but of course this is offer and demand. However the cheaper room didn’t even have a toilet in the room! The more expensive room had 2 toilets and balconies. Neither room had breakfast included. When talking to the managers that room without toilets is much too high compared to the other room, they said yes you are right. The difference is too small. We will increase the price of the better by 100 CHF. They could have offered at least the breakfast or done any other gesture. Also there is no reception. We couldn’t leave the luggage longer than 4pm. I

Im Home Hotel Locarno fühlt man sich wohl und geborgen. Die Gastgeberinnen sind sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer (Cosy Zimmer mit Balkon und Seesicht) war zwar klein und der Balkon sehr klein mit teilweiser Seesicht, jedoch hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Sehr bequemes King-Size-Bett, gute Bettwäsche, funktionierende Dusche. Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Sehr bequemes Ein- und Auschecken online. Parkplätze nur wenige (10) vorhanden, wir mussten jeweils nebenan parken. Kein Problem. Wer zuerst da ist, hat den Parkplatz :-) Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, gute Qualität, Eierspeisen immer frisch und warm, frischer Obstsalat, Müsli, Käse, Schinken, Salami, alles da. Wunderbares Tessinerbrot und Croissants. Alles wurde sofort wieder aufgefüllt, sehr aufmerksam! Die Lage ist top, fussläufig zum Bahnhof, ins Zentrum von Locarno und die Ticino-Card gibts kostenlos dazu. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und wir wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben. Home Hotel können wir ohne Einschränkung empfehlen! Herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Ottima ubicazione, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione treni, centro e Lungolago. Nadia e Cinzia, le proprietarie, Heidi, la responsabile delle colazioni sono persone stupende. Ti coccolano e ti viziano: ti fanno sentire a casa. Belle camere, bella area comune, ottima pulizia. Un' attenzione al cliente davvero insuperabile
