Very disappointed with the hotel, if you book just checking the photos beware, because it’s not like that, everything is old, on the way to the restaurant (level -1) looks like the ceiling will fall in your head. Bedroom too old, with ants everywhere going trough our baby food. Bathroom was in a terrible condition, poor light, our shower head break in the second day, needing someone come over and fix. Cleaning I don’t think they know what that means, just changing towels and removing the rubbish, you could feel the sea sand in the floor and see how dirt it was. Breakfast and dinner too repetitive, and with little options. Playground for kids not good at all, always close and with some broken toys, poor opening times. It’s impossible to seat in front of the swimming pool in any sun bed, the people put their towels on and leave the there, and sometimes you look over there and there’s just towels seating on the beds 🤡. I supposed have read more comments about that hotel before booking, for a 6 nights hotel over 1000€ it’s not worth it, I’ll have choose another one, so BEWARE with them.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel, not even a 4 star, more like a 3.5. The hotel has heaps of potential but sadly is badly in need of an update - wobbly taps, sinks which dont drain properly, scruffy decor, uncomfortable sunbeds with tiny pool towels, etc. There is a charge for beds on the private beach and the 4 poster sunbeds around the pool. Breakfast appears great at first but is of a poor quality - scrambled egg made from powder, dry hard breads, pastries as you would get in a supermarket packet, etc. After a few days you really dont want it any more. Staff are polite but ineffective. Booked 3 people into a suite and no provisions were supplied for the 3rd person (only 2 of everything - chairs on balcony, towels, mugs, glasses, robes, slippers, water, etc). Sofa bed mattress really thin and no bedside table, lamp, waste basket, etc in the room. Requested all these things on the day after arrival and got some of them (but not all) 3 days later, half way through the holiday. All feels a little tatty and in need of some tlc. If it was advertised as a 3 star plus you would at least know what to expect and not be disappointed but this is definitley not a luxury hotel as 5 stars would indicate even by Spanish standards. Have stayed in a 5 star in Soller on the north west of the island and it was in a completely different league.

We love the location it’s just excellent and rare direct access to the beach. Despite this, the hotel has become a little bit outdated and there is a need for refurbishment. The actual 5 star hotel respective services, rooms food etcetera would rather suit 4 star +. However we have understood the hotel will be completely upgraded next year under the new Hyatt brand.

It was a nice stay and holiday in this hotel.

Hotel is dated and tired. Stone facia blown out all over the place. Paint peeling everywhere. Bedside tables didn't have drawers. No console table in room to put stuff on. No way to connect firestick or other device to tv. 3 switches to turn on lights in bathroom. Bath doesn't work, looks like deliberately disabled but no walk in showers to replace. Entertainment poor. We ended up finding better entertainment in Grupotel Maritimo but that was a bit of a walk. May promote itself as 5* but maybe 3* plus. Look for better value for money. There has been a lack of investment here and it is plain to see. Indeed the hotel has just been sold to a Swiss fund who will hopefully restore it to its former glory.

Finishing a 2 week vacation at Be Live “Collection” Palace de Muro, supposedly a 5-star hotel. I have stayed in this hotel many times, the first time some ten years ago and it was a very good 5-star hotel and I’m very sad to see what has happened to it… This is, at best, a low-range 4-star hotel (andI'me being very nice), but keeping the 5-star prices and classification. The Hotel The hotel is badly kept and downright dirty. Maintenance is non existing, and they even keep ruptured couches in the reception lobby like that is a normal thing in a 5-star hotel. Housekeeping is clearly understaffed and subpar so don’t expect your room or common places to be clean. Even the pool area is very badly kept. What was once an excellent beachfront hotel is now a very underkept, dirty and neglected 3-star hotel. The location Albeit that is right on top of the beach (which is a definite plus) during 14 of our 15 day vacation the beach was completely filled with algae that even made a sort of “wall” when trying to get in the water. I believe the hotel just does not make any attempt to get it cleaned as this is not a problem in other hotels in the area. The food 3-star quality and I’m being (very) nice. Some food was actually moldy (like the breakfast cheese), and the ham always had a greyish color to it like it had been stored in a fridge for ages. The rest of the food was just thrown onto some plates, badly cooked. If you’re travelling with kids, forget about a kid’s food corner. It does not exist. Pool restaurant is less bad with some well cooked food, but very limited in choice so you get tired of it a few days into your vacation. The room Well... We booked a side sea view suite (2 adults and 1 child) and whe we arrives we we're "upgraded" to a front sea view suite. They only forgot to tell us that this suit did NOT have separate areas and did NOT have an extra bed or even a sofa bed. Our daughter slept in a chaise long with a couple of sheets that was hard and had no conditions whatsoever to accommodate someone sleeping there. The Internet Well, I tried to upload this commentary about 6 times... I guess that sums up Wi-Fi quality here... The Staff Well, a word of appreciation to them, especially the restaurant staff who did try their best to please us. I hope they keep them. When I confronted some of the reception staff with these issues the reply was that the hotel was going to be sold during this winter (a done deal, as it seems) so they just didn’t really care about the place. I think this alone is reason enough for you to rethink coming here… This is my first review EVER but I feel I have a moral obligation to warn other people before they come her.
