BQ Alcudia Sun Village

The beds are so comfy, the entertainment and the food is the best. The pool is really clean and good. The staff is really nice. The tv quality and WiFi quality is also really good. I recommend going here to anyone who sees this report. I give it 5 stars.

This was a fantastic family holiday. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times and great with our two boys, especially Pepe. The animation team were excellent and enthusiastic, particularly with the activities and the kids disco/entertainment. The food was amazing, with excellent tasty choices for all the family. There were also tasty bar snacks throughout the day for those who missed lunch and we also enjoyed the cocktails and mocktails. The rooms were clean and comfortable and cleaned daily. In terms of the location, it is just under a 10 minute walk to the beach and there are regular buses to Alcudia and other parts of the island if you wish to do some exploring. We would definitely recommend BQ Alcudia Sun Village for family holidays.

Me and my partner got back last week from a 7 night stay here and we had a wonderful time. Although the hotel is family friendly we found if you don’t mind children around having fun it’s still a great stay for couples, friends and anyone without children. We even met a lot of couples without children and friends who were also having a great time. But we saw so many kids having the best time ever and the hotel is perfect for them! The hotel was always kept clean, and our room was cleaned everyday, beds made and floor mopped without fail. The cleaning staff really deserve more recognition and the cleaners we interacted with were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. All staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and you always felt welcome. Great location of the hotel with only around a 5-10 minute walk to beach and even less to be in the area of shops and restaurants. The facilities at the hotel were great however in some areas it’s definitely showing its age. Whilst things were clean, there definitely is room for some refurbishment and maintenance to happen out of season. Whilst there we saw some steps for the pool break and become out of action, and also saw some fencing around the pool fall off multiple times and narrowly missed hitting anyone. The pool was great, not the deepest but definitely big enough to have a swim, relax and cool off from the sunshine. Some days the pool had a lot of grit, sand and rocks in vs others. Some could’ve been brought in by the storms and weather, and of course people walking it in. We went in first thing on several mornings and noticed the grittiness, it wasn’t bad but it made us wonder if the filtration system was any good for the pool or how scrupulous it was cleaned. We saw maintenance checking chlorine levels on several occasions and also lifeguards with nets going around cleaning bits out. Sun loungers were never a problem during our stay at the beginning of September. You could always get one and didn’t need to reserve one. The animation team were fantastic with the kids, and with the entertainment schedule. Plenty of entertainment for both kids and adults throughout our stay. Loved the pool activities they did such as water polo, water gym and aerobics it was all good fun! Unfortunately we saw and heard of a particular bar man and some animation team hitting on hotel guests, asking if they were single, to go clubbing and others means, and on occasion pestered some hotel guests which in my opinion wasn’t fair if they had already shown disinterest and put a boundary there. The bar man mentioned above also made a comment to a guest telling them to watch their calories after hitting on them. Also certain members of the animation team were after alcoholic drinks from guests when on shift which doesn’t sit well especially when they’re running the kids club and are on shift at work. Can't fault anything at this hotel. Breakfast, lunch & dinner abundance of choice excellent quality. Drinks again excellent choice, surprisingly good quality wine. Staff amongst the friendliest, and most efficient I've ever encountered. Apartment really clean and comfortable and grounds kept in immaculate condition. Loads of sunbeds very comfy. Best all-inclusive todate. I have for many years taken at least 3 holidays a year so am making quite a comprehensive comparison. Perfect holiday would return in a heartbeat.

Family holiday, 2young children and it was just brilliant. For 3 star I thought the food was fabulous, lots of variety, cooked well and great service. Rooms are basic but well equipped and clean. Due to the lay out of the hotel it didn’t feel too big or overwhelming. Good mini disco every night, possibly a bit on the late side for my children but they adapted. Great kids pool, with enough room for everyone. Great holiday 👍

Stayed with my 15 yr old granddaughter.Apartment clean and adequate. Food very good not always hot though. Grounds beautifully kept. Staff friendly and hard working. Animation team not much interaction with older children. Highly recommend this hotel. Not far from shops and lovely beach either.

Absolutely brilliant just what me and boys needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and the kids loved that they could help themselves at the pool bar. Variety of ice creams and ice lollies included in the all inclusive was great. Entertainment team was full of energy and encouraged the kids to join in and give the activity a go. Rooms were clean and tidy, so was the restaurant and pool area. On arrival we were given bottles of water as it was late. All round lovely experience would definitely go back.

We came back in this hotel after 2 years with our kids, 4 and 8 years old, what to say, simply amazing, the kids enjoyed almost everything, the food with allot of choices from the breakfast to the dinner, if something to improve the kids animation, too repetitive in the evening. The staff from the bars amazing people. Thanks and hope to see you soon again.

Stayed here for a week with my husband and 3 small children. Our room was nice and the air conditioning was very good. It was a good size for our family and had a little kitchen area which came in handy. The pools were amazing, very clean and plenty of sun loungers available. During the day we often ate at the snack bar for ease but every morning and evening we used the main restaurant. Food was amazing, alot to choose from and every night was different. We didn't stay for the evening entertainment but the bar had a huge list of cocktails and other drinks. Location was perfect, we visit playa de muro every year so know the area very well. The hotel is walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is around 10 mins walk away but definitely worth a visit. Most evening we went to the cute little Market near the swan pub. We would definitely stay here again.
