Very friendly people over there, room with fridge, freezer, microwave, and also a real pod coffee machine. Even 2 packs of milk. And also a charger for my EV over night. Will come back, for sure.

Clean and tidy, loved the Nespresso machine air cond was good, easy parking at rear lived the views of mount warning great cafes and shops within walking distance of motel has a pool but we didn’t use it rooms seem recently renovated with new furnishings

Welcome back to the 1970's. Wood panelling, motley mishmash of brown tiling and dodgy looking asbestos (?) sheeting in the cramped bathroom. Room clearly in desperate need of modernisation and furniture refit. Doors on the cupboards would be nice, so would a comfortable bed. On the upside the view from our room was lovely, the coffee maker is a nice touch

Staying a couple of nights to cycle the Rail Trail. Motel is very well situated and handy to shops etc. Beds were comfortable, bathroom is a little dated but clean and hot water which is all we require. Plenty of off-street parking. The microwave was a bonus. Reception were extremely helpful and pleasant. Would recommend and definitely stay here again.

A haven for smokers. We had a great view of Mt Warning from our mountain view room, overlooking a quiet backstreet of Murwillumbah but unfortunately smoking outside the rooms seems to be ok here. On our way out to dinner we had to walk past two groups puffing away. When we got back from dinner there was a group quite near our room. Our room had filled with smoke which had come in under under the door and via the bathroom window. We rang the manager to complain but it turned out he was sitting outside with the smoker(s)! I thought smoking was banned within so many metres of a building/doorway but here ashtrays are provided outside rooms and at tables only a metre or two away and the official 'smoking area' is right beside the entry from the carpark.

Disappointed stay, would not recommend this motel, very dated, glad we only stayed one night. Bathroom and kitchen where quite depressing, BBQ was unusable very dirty had a sign on it saying clean after use, what a joke.

When I entered the room it had a terrible smell, which remained for the two day stay. I was unable to determine what and where the smell was coming from. On the balcony was an ashtray that was overflowing with cigarettes, (we are non smokers). The “free” Wifi does not work. However the room was clean and well appointed.

Lovely and clean, accessible smoking area, comfortable beds, great water pressure and management is amazing and more than willing to accommodate and help in anyway. Beautiful little quaint Inn, central to everything beautiful in the area! We have decided to start a tradition of staying here once a month, my 14 year old teenager was also more than happy to be here, WiFi was active and more than enough TV channels available for free, not that you'd want to spend time watching TV when you're in murwillumbah visiting. Thank you Murwillumbah Motor Inn, 5 stars!
