Spark by Hilton Nacogdoches

The rooms are nice and spacious. The beds are comfortable. Pillows are fluffy. Air conditioner works really well. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is the typical eggs, bacon, cereal. The only bread option is bagels which is fine with me. The pool and hot tub looked inviting but we didn’t use this time. They have the largest variety of snack items in the lobby I have seen at an hotel including wine. The walls are thin but I carry a fan so it was no problem for us. We would definitely stay again

Very nice remodel of a former chain hotel. It is very much up-to-date and clean. Had a very tiny snack bar area but Burger King and Taco Bell are right next-door. Breakfast had bagels, but also had cheese omelettes and sausage which I was not expecting very good value for one night.Right on main road through town.

Checkout is at 11a and they would only give us a 30 minute late checkout. We get at least a couple hours or more at the Marriott. None of the Front desk staff were friendly AT ALL. The nicest lady there was the lady who handles breakfast. Breakfast was fair at best. The highlight is that the guest room was nice.

Went to Nacogdoches for a weekend with friends as an SFA alum. Been here multiple time but this was my first time back since they remodeled. Room was nice and clean, spacious, and I loved having a ceiling fan! Didn’t love being charged $25 to check in early. Never had that issue when it was a super 8 and have never been charged at any other hotel for an early check in fee. Maybe this is a new thing or a Hilton thing but I spent two years traveling for work and I couldn’t imagine getting off a flight and sitting at the airport or in the hotel lobby just because it isn’t 3pm yet and not wanting to get charged. No fault to the staff, but the walls are paper thin and the entire time I could hear doors slamming, conversations of people on either side of me and people yelling and stomping down the hallway. At times it almost felt like people were in MY room and it was very uncomfortable. Cost was reasonable, limited parking, location is inconvenient but that’s also not their fault, all the hotels are stacked on top of each other on a busy highway currently under construction. Overall it’s a decent property for the cost.

AMAZING! Very hard working and friendly staff that was knowledgeable about the area, and they also have coffee 24/7 in the lobby, the pool was nice and the hot tub was relaxing. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were probably the best I’ve slept on. I was impressed with how much better this hotels quality was compared to others in town. We will definitely be staying here again! The breakfast here was lovely and had just about everything you could want and need and if there was anything they didn’t have, they had a little suite shop in the lobby where you could purchase additional things like medicine, alcohol, and other snacks and drinks. Also they can enroll you for free into their Hilton Honors program which doesn’t cost you anything, earns you discounts, and eventually leads to benefits like free nights and and snacks at check in.

Staff was great. We was greeted and felt like we were at home. This hotel and staff are very welcoming and we highly recommend to come here. Hot tub was very relaxing after traveling and I ove the fact that it is family friendly and pet friendly here as well. Food was yummy.
