Tokatoka Resort Hotel recensioner

Tokatoka was an excellent choice for me as a customer TRANSITING through Fiji due to its ideal location to the airport. I used the trip.com app to do an online booking with a good deal literally minutes before enjoying a 10-minute walk from Nadi International Airport to the resort. Was welcomed with a cool orange juice while waiting to check in at the counter. Didn't have enough time to visit the whole resort as I was tired from the trip, but my observations and first impressions of Tokatoka are as follows: 1. Ideal location to Airport (walking distance) 2. Very friendly stuff with great customer service 3. Free airport transport transfer provided 4. Room could be better decorated (#114) 5. My Highlight: Great restaurant and bar area with amazing pool design. There's also a playground area for kids, which is a bonus. Overall rating, 4.5/5 🙏🏼🇵🇬

Beautiful location and views. Very close to the international airport, very walkable. Staff were very friendly. Great experience. Will definitely be back!

Airport pick up did not showed up, almost 10 of us were waiting and ended up finding a ride to the hotel and reception refused to pay. We called them several times, no one picked up. Wifi were terrible as well.

The hotel is convenient for the airport. It has a range of facilities. The food is good, but probably a little better at The Gateway Hotel next door. There is a laundry but you have to pay staff for the service rather than wash yourself which some hotels allow with a guest laundry. There are strict rules about having guests on site who aren't staying at the hotel. Everything works fine and I would happily stay here again for what I paid to be close to the airport. However the shower whilst working, can only be used in a particular direction is straight down vertical rather than at an angle. When at an angle it floods some of the bathroom.

It is close to the airport and therefore makes it easier for you to catch your flight on time.

Bad hotel. 1) No internet. Formally, there is. But I tried to send e-mail for 45 minutes and nothing worked. Also, more than two devices per room are prohibited, and guest is not allowed to change once choosed devices. 2) Ugly room interior. 3) Transfer from the airport with conditions and restrictions. You only need to call, noone answer to e-mail. Free transfer is not allowed in case you temporary leave some bags in storage room.

Great hotel. Stayed here for a night early July 2024 on way to Suva. Checked in late afterc a horrible flight. Lovely Fijian brand of hospitality at reception and at the bar where the kitchen accomodated my late (10pm) request for spicy lamb curry. That, the Fiji Gold beer, and the comfortable bed made this a perfect stay to recover before 3 hour drive to Suva. I'd stay here any time of the year.

Tokatoka is my go-to place to overnight before travelling on to the capital city. It's by the airport and has a shuttle service. The breakfast has a nice spread of fresh tropical fruits.

Nice and close to the airport for our early morning departure. Clean and comfortable room for our family of 3. Pool and slide were great for a bit of afternoon/ evening fun before dinner. Nice bar and restaurant area next to pool. Great stop prior to heading out to the islands or on the way back. Would stay here again. A little bit of airplane noise as you would expect being so close to the airport.

Service was excellent with welcome drink & allowing us to use the shower in the evening after the check out. Food in the restaurant was very good. The room cleanliness could have been better, as we see small insects inside the cabinets and floor was bit dirty. The property and surroundings are well maintained as show in the attached photo.

The bathroom in the room I stayed in had a really bad smell. It was so gross, but luckily I was only there for one night. The room wasn't very clean, but the location was really convenient

This place is magic. Friendly helpful staff, clean basic rooms, excellent restaurant, good wifi? early check-in and late check-out, a free airport shuttle and lovely surrounds. The people are so friendly and kind. Highly recommended!
