#NamahNainital #Uttarakhand #Nainital, the City of Lakes is the most loved and sought after destination for the tourists. Earlier it was summer destination and now it is all time favourite destination for tourists as we also observed this in our recent visit to this place. Many tourists attractions are there to enjoy by one and all..... Boating, Horse Riding, Peaks.... Sightseeing places like famous Nainadevi Temple,..... scenic beauty, greenery with beautiful weather. From Delhi it is six to seven hours drive by Car with other mode of transport also. This time we stayed at #NamahNainital, one of the most beautiful, iconic property, earlier it was ManuMaharani, now the #Radisson brand is managing the property, fully renovated and revamped with very well coordinated upholstery with soothing colours, decent decore, class apart. It is sixty seven keys hotel with six to seven categories of rooms, some rooms have small sit out balcony, some with big terrace, facing hills with mesmerizing view. A full day dining restaurant Panorama and a Bar is fully operational whereas one more restaurant is under renovations. Open Lawn, Kids area and Bon fire can be arranged as per the requirement. Live band in the restaurant adds to the charm with good food. We reached at the hotel in the afternoon, had a veg kathi roll and headed to open terrace to attend the traditional #CakeMixingCeremony which is done before #Christmas where nuts, spices, liquor are mixed together and keep them for some time to bake the Rich Plum Cake during Christmas time. Afterwards took a round of the Mall Road and then attended the traditional folk dance of the #Uttrakhand at the hotel by the dance troupe which is time to time arranged by the Hotel. Next day had light breakfast in room ....Upma, Idli with Chutney. Lunch was great as we relished the traditional Kumauni Food served in a beautiful Thali, which had Muli kaa thichuwa..... pahadi muli crushed done with salt, chilli, Sisune kashikar .....this is mutton done with Bichchu grass which is medicinal and healthy, Kukud ka shikar .... chicken, Pahadi tawa fish, Rice is called Bhaat, Tatwani dal ....mix dal, Sote ki sabji....beans ki sabzi and stuffed dal ki roti. Singodi, the traditional sweet. Food was simple, healthy yet tasty. Very dedicated and courteous team is there to make your stay comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at #NamahNainital. Thanks to the GM Mr Naresh Gupta who is heading the property for a decade now, and his team for all the courtesies extended.
