My recent booking through Trip.com for a studio at stay studio apartment at Tsavo Nairobi was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I arrived at the address, only to be told that the room I had already paid for through the app had been sold to another customer.
This is completely unacceptable and frankly, outrageous. After paying in advance and receiving a confirmation, I was left without the room I expected and was forced to re-book a new, different room directly at the premises. This is not only incredibly inconvenient but a blatant disrespect for a confirmed reservation.
This experience has left me with zero confidence in booking accommodations through Trip.com. I am making it clear now that I may not book another hotel on this app again after this terrible incident. Save yourself the stress and avoid this kind of deceitful practice.
